Did he rule out a move?
Someone posted it in the Lloris thread, and I assumed it was from today but it was actually from 2013. He said: "I left to go abroad, to try and build something on a personal and sporting level and I don't intend to come back soon."

I don't think he'll want to go there, if they are even interested.

I will be very surprised if he doesn't end up a Manchester United player once De Gea goes.

Gonna be a long summer if De Gea goes.... United are spending vast sums of money and will be in the reckoning soon, so it could be curtains.

Surely Valdes is an option? he isn't past it yet surely?

Ah I don't mind Hugo leaving for champions league and medals but would hate to see him at united or any other prem club.

I have a feeling levy doesn't allow that anymore , abroad or nothing

Gotta horrible feeling Lloris won't be our keeper next season, when you hear statements that can be interpreted both ways re. players staying/leaving then it usually means the worst. He deserves CL football of that there can be no doubt. He came very close to getting it under AVB when we finished 1 measly point away, and that after dropping points at Stoke when an Ade goal was ruled offside when it was obviously legal, jeez we need video refs badly. Looks like Vorm better start training harder...

I've already accepted that he's gone, I'm not really gutted about it because I think he deserves to win some medals.

No. Wasnt even asked/didnt answer it.

He will be sold though. Very obvious. Deserves it too. Wayyyyyy too good for a club with fake ambition like us. Too bad he'll be continuing the Spurs players to United pipeline.

Pipeline? Directly we've sold like 3 players to United in well over a hundred years. Wtf are you actually on about?

If we sell Lloris we potentially drop an extra 10-15 points next season, we will struggle to even make top 6 imo.

Not being negative, just being realistic, think about how many points Lloris saved us last season? And how many goalkeepers do you know in world football who are as consistent and reliable as Hugo? Also he plays the sweeper role for us, can Vorm really replace him in that respect? I don't believe he can.

Losing him will have a bigger impact than Bale or Modric did imo, just a real shame because all he wants is CL football and I can't see us getting that anytime soon.

At the very least I hope we can keep him for one more season but if United sell DG then it's curtains.

Get Valdés as part of the deal. Also a sweeper keeper.

Graham Hunter said today Spurs have asked about Casillas..

Rideaux for Lloris.
