Player Watch: Hugo Lloris

Controversial opinion but for me Hugo was MOTM today. He only made I think one save but it was a huge one but jeeze did he show why he is the leader of this team. Some of the balls he collected out of the sky today were phenomenal, he really showed great composure and intelligence to calm things down, I just felt it was the perfect goalkeeping performance. There's always games where a keeper is producing worldies but today but was about him taking responsibility and claiming the ball and stopping Burnley do what they do best which is to create pinball in the box.

Also just read that he was unwell on top of it all. Has been a colossus these past few weeks.

This. Hugo is massively underrated by other teams' fans, but he's surprisingly underrated among us selves, too.

At times I'm very critical of Hugo. These last 10 game stretch hes been incredibly. One of the best runs of form in his entire tottenham career.

Funny how that stopped when we stopped playing out from the back so much. Best thing Jose did was optimise us for Hugo (and Kane's) game.

16 clean sheets!! The most he's ever recorded in season. So happy for him! Just needs another 20 to break into the Top 5 of all time. I can see him doing it.

Chart seems fine, those trend lines are painfully unnecessary though.

I was disappointed a bit in Lloris yesterday.

I feel he should be the one organising at corners and if there is an overload he should see it and be barking instructions.

I also think he went down early for their 2nd, the goalies gamble.
