Perisic, Holjbjerg, Davies are a little band of experienced old hands he puts on to see out the game. Much better game management than just sitting back trying to defend your lead.
yoy can always rely on Davies to get you a goal to put the result beyond doubt

Perisic was also motm imo when we played utd in May last year. He’s not spectacular beats six players but like Beckham he puts the ball in the right places

The fittest 34 year old I've ever seen. So much energy when he comes onto the pitch, his two footedness is such a great weapon, and he's got the experience to help us see out games like yesterday too

Just gets the Ange role so easily, watching Kulu and Son struggling to get to grips with the role it is refreshing to see Perisic come on and slot in so easily.

I don't disagree with this, but I'd also say Peresic's responsibilities are slightly different when he comes on, than Son's.

Would be very interesting to see the system with someone who could cross with their right foot on the right…

I think it could be Sonny - here is a clip from what looks like the same session - and Sonny is playing on the right. Could be interesting to see if this happens in a game.

You are right. On a second look, it seems like that's him just beside the blue standee. Because I supposed he's fairer and slimmer, but there was a moment his posture was quite unmistakable it's him 😅

He’s now playing for a coach who knows how to maximise his strengths and mitigate his weaknesses. We should have had one of those a couple of years ago, but apparently only a world class Manager would have been able to persuade Danny to spend properly.
