Seems a charming young man, I’m sure he will be kissing chicken badge come August.

Edit…. This has already been mentioned, many apologies.

Should ask him if he still thinks Jack Wheelchair was better than Bale.

He’s a very good player but definitely a grade A cock, I remember a story about his mates beating some poor sod up cause he didn’t know who Maddison was. I’m glad we have him, but my opinion of him won’t change just cause he is our player but I don’t get player idolisation though to be fair. They are simply employees of my club.

It's well documented he's grown up since the birth of his child and become less of a prick. Like most people when they mature

You can't blame him for other peoples actions. That's a bit of a reach.

As for the twitter quotes, he was 16. 16 year old are idiots.

You've formed an opinion, based on 2 incidents? You don't know him, and seem quick to judge.

I don’t really see why what I think of Maddison personally really matters TBH? I didn’t realise the comments had already been discussed. Like I said I’m glad we have him and hope he will be a good servant to the club. Quick to judge? Beating someone up cause they didn’t know who you were is being a cock.

Anything he tweeted or did in the past is nothing compared to the fact he played for bloody Leicester. I still forgive him now, he's finally grown up.

You are quick to judge. You said his friend beat someone up. So, I googled it. The guy was found not guilty, as it was deemed an act of self defence. Again, you have picked 2 instances and used it to frame what you think about him. Everyone makes mistakes, you and I included.

We will agree to disagree, again I don’t see the big deal. Again I don’t get player idolisation, or having to adore everyone of our own players. For example I love what Harry has done for us, but after his bullshit 2 seasons ago I simply can’t feel the same way about him. That’s just how I see it. One of the worst aspects of football fandom is the blind tribalism in it. It’s ok to have differing opinions you know.

Nothing to do with idolisation, at least acknowledge that you've made a narrative up about his friend, just to reaffirm your preset opinion on him.

His friends, turned out to be 1 friend, who was found not guilty.

I have no opinion on him, because I don't know him. A few tweets and an incident doesn't define anything.

The full behind the scenes video uploaded by the club has gotten me more excited for this transfer than I thought I was.

Comes across as genuinely happy to be here and also seems a pretty normal guy. For some reason I especially loved the part of him asking about the kit having white shorts this season.

Hope he smashes it!

Why do I have to admit anything? Jesus man. It’s a football forum where people have opinions?

He may get more minutes for England now that he has come here too. Especially if Kane stays and they can strike up a partnership.

I agree to an extent but probably no more than most young English players are. A friends dad works at Man U and says the English players including Rashford are the worst.

Give it a rest mate. You're saying someone is a Grade A cock because of a couple of tweets when he was 16 and a story you thought you'd remembered that turned out to be wrong.

You don't need to idolise our players but giving them abuse for that is a bit much. I think he comes across really well these days.
