Wonder if Maddison did his foot just after Martinez fouled Romero in the box?
Yeah it was then. It looked pretty nasty

Regarding Gio as Maddison’s deputy, a lot of faith being shown in a player that last started a Premier League match for us in October 2021
Let’s not post anything more on Ronan given he is a musical abomination of shite.Maybe we take the Ronan theme and post another one of his songs in the ITK Discussion Thread - Nothing At All the perfect fit.
I'm in.
But if he gets a groin strain later in the season, then I'll probably leave you to it at that point...
Well, it worked perfectly for Beckham, so why not?
Yea it could be a bit of a blessing to him to be like see mate all it takes is a little injury and you’re starting games, plus we will have cup games and busy periods and then if you stay part of this project next season we will be back in Europe so even more games. In a way it's good to show that Lo Celso has a real role in the squad this season, he was sublime during pre season.
True.Maddison had regular niggling injury issues at Leicester so this isn't a big surprise.
Shows how important it is to have a high quality backup for him in the side and Lo Celso is exactly that.
Given how skint Spanish clubs are I don't think the money we'd get for Lo Celso next summer will be much lower than this summer anyway so think we'd be very wise to keep him around even if an offer comes in.
The offers we've got for him over the past few years have always been pretty pitiful tbh and well below his true value.
Also don’t see how your argument works, at all. An external solution is not contracted to play for us over that period. Lo Celso was, and we chose to loan him and seek replacements rather than include him in our squad. Not saying he can’t have a fresh restart under our new manager, but we shouldn’t look past that he was rubbish in his last league appearances for us (and also couldn’t stay fit).An external solution would have not started a PL match for us at any time...
Don't see how this argument works. Since then we have a 180° change of system including a new manager, who had a close look at him since the season started. As we hear Ange wants only players who are committed to the cause it seems like Gio is on board and he has shown in pre season its worth to give him at least another six months. He obviously has the tools to succeed. (only issue to me if he can stay fit)
But he wasn’t rubbish. He was played under negative managers and played out of position at rw most of the time. Conte ruined bissouma now look at him? Also don’t see how your argument works, at all. Maddison is way better in the tackle as well.
Yes. Over his five seasons at Leicester he has averaged 40.5 appearances. He's played 30+ games in every premier league season. Hardly anything to keep an eye on.
Holy shit son, do you even pay attention to what else goes on at the club. If you can't see the night and day difference in playing under Mourinho/Conte and playing under Ange then I'm at a loss. Also don’t see how your argument works, at all.
