Shocking story. Football will forever be in the dark ages, sadly. Once again it lags way behind sports that have far less reach and far less financial muscle. Dealing with head injuries properly should be a given in this day and age
They definitely need to change the protocols for head injuries during the game. To be fair to the club if he didn't tell them he was still experiencing problems months afterwards they aren't going to know and be able to give him the support he needed. They probably would have sent him for a scan and to see a specialist if they'd known.
