Atalanta would be a good move for him.

They did well last season in Serie A.
He is always linked to Italian clubs for one reason. His agent is Italian .more Luton than Atalanta I would think. He is just a bit wild at times. Hope he gets a decent move.

Impo if we can sell some of the others (namely Sanchez and rodon) I’d prefer japhet to get a loan. Loads of fans saying he’s not good enough but I really don’t think he’s played regularly enough to warrant this criticism. A years loan would put this to bed and then we can either sell or have him playing more regularly for us depending on how well he does

I’d prefer a sale with a reasonable buyback clause - time to let him go on and have a career for himself, and I’m sure if he kicks on and becomes top quality he’d be happy to come back and start for us.

Absolutely no chance of Luton being able to afford him, prior to winks going for £10m I’d have said we should be looking at £10-15m for him but I suppose we’d have to settle on £8-10m.
For that though I’d rather keep hold and get rid of Rodon to Luton for £5-7m who would be a much better fit for them.

He was linked with Milan the prev 2 Januarys. His agent is Italian or favours the Italian league I believe.

Think previously we couldn’t agree a fee with the Italian clubs but Japh will 100% want to go now unless Ange has big plans for him, which I doubt tbh.

The kid needs to get a move and go and play games.

He’s 24. He’s not a young player with potential anymore. I feel for the lad, but the cold hard truth is he’s had far too many injuries thats meant he’s had very little football in the last four years. He’s too old for us to be messing around sending him on loan and seeing if he suddenly develops. It’s not gonna happen. There are 20 year olds with more playing time and experience than him.

He should have gone years ago either on loan or permanently. But it’s time to part ways now, for his sake as much as anything else.

I think he’d be good in a back 3 for Atalanta, but in a back 4 in thd PL I think he’d do a good job at RB for a lower down team who are under the cost a lot and just need good defenders.
It’s good to see interest in our players, I can see us selling all our defenders bar Romero if we can. Sounds like dier wants to stay, so hopefully tanganga, rodon and Sanchez all have buyers.

Feel somewhat sorry for him. Been clear for a while he isn't going to get a real look in and has played so few games for someone of his age which has no doubt impacted his development.

He must have known the game was up when he can't get a look in when the likes of Dier, Sanchez and Davies still play ahead of him even after shambolic displays. At RB, not really an option as doesn't give enough going forward.

Hope he gets a good move and can start to play regularly. Same goes for Rodon.

Feels like we’ve just been keeping him around for the HG numbers. He needs to go now and have a proper career. Welcome bids and take whatever we can get that’s reasonable.

To me he always had the physical attributes- fast and strong but not the mental awareness and positioning skills that you really need at the top level, and was not lucky with injuries.
Not sure Italy is the right place for him so perhaps a lower level PL team might be a good place to get his career on track again.

He lacks any football intelligence and gives you the impression that he looks like a rabbit caught in headlights . I struggle to see a future for him here

He is 24 and played 50 senior games, he needs to move for his own sake, Atalanta would be a super move for him as I am not sure he is up to that level

First link ("exclusive") of Tanganga to Besiktas - Season long loan but we're apparently insisting on mandatory buy clause.
Was thinking Ange may want to look at him first as he has a few good attributes pace and aggression but the more I think about it, just get him gone anyway we can as I doubt he will get to be what we need
