If the figure is true and it’s £27.5k then he’s earning £18.5k less than Vorm. No brainier really ??
For a 3rd keeper, you cant ask for much more. Real solid piece of business. Just have to hope he wont have to play much, if at all.

The debate and anguish in this thread revolves around people believing he’d be our backup and is good enough to be. Which couldnt be further from the truth.

A good Hart these days is hard to find (probably been said all ready but can’t be arsed to read back)

Found this article last night while I was reading up on the rumours:

Killing it in the gym while not even having a team to fight for a place in, is exactly the kind of mentality which impresses Jose, I imagine.

Compare and contrast with some of our players...
I kill it in the gym every bloody day and I'm a teacher! What does that mean? Hart was a very good keeper, but as often happens with keepers, once they lose that sense of invincibility, they don't get it back. He's been absolutely shocking for a good few years now.

Because his job requires that physical standard, as well as a lot of confidence. When I cut weight and put on a tidy bit of muscle, I get both of those in abundance so if I were shredded I’d probably be confident enough to be Spurs’ 3rd choice ? I’ve not won a PL though and I’m not keen on the keeper kit ?

I think as long as he is 3rd choice, It's a good piece of deal. But if he is our second choice back up for Lloris, I think that will be problematic ...

75 caps for England. Won the league twice, FA Cup twice. Speaks well. Not timid. Hates losing. Perfect back up keeper.
