How'd the 2nd goal happen? Did it just fall from the fucking sky or did Tripps have a large part in the lead up to it?

1. He's not there to man mark DeLigt, Vertonghen being fouled had a lot to do with that goal. We mark zonally.
2. He got hit in the face in the build up to the second, there was still a bit to do before a great finish before you decide to hang him out to dry before the game's finished yet again.

5 key passes made him our most productive player on the pitch through passing.

But sure carry on with the negativity in light of a historic night you joyless, keyboard warrior, fucking bores. I'd probably expect him to start in the final, so try not to upset yourselves too much beforehand and maybe prepare for it tbh.

Everyones happy we won, fact is though for as much as we can applaud the result and the second half performance we can also criticise the poor first half.

Personally I'm of the belief he's a good player and l take last seasons form as proof of that, and think he's just having a poor one this time round. The end result and a good 45 minutes does not make him immune to criticism though.

No, he didn't get kicked in the face, he got hit in the chin by the back of Tadic's head before he swung his leg.

CL winners or not, he needs to be sold in the summer. Wish him well. Sign a better RB. He isn’t good enough it’s clear as day ffs.

Chelsea won the CL final with Bertrand and Boswinga in their starting line. So I’m sure we can still do it with Trips.

They didn’t last at Chelsea, doubt Trips will last at Spurs. He was shocking first half, like most of the season, but he really fought hard second half so I’m delighted for him.

We were all fucking furious with that first half from him, but he made up for it in some way. They are all heroes tonight.

Stop worrying about your man crush and enjoy being in the Champions League final. Seriously fella, learn to enjoy things a little more.

I'm quite enjoying things, although I wasn't the one bumping a fucking player thread half way through the biggest match in our history to whinge and be a negative fucking twat (again).

Just seems that the two goals have been solely blamed on KT for a change.

Whilst you continue to defend him regardless of how poor he plays again.

I'm genuinely interested how both goals are solely his fault this time around.

None of the goals where directly his fault imo, he was at fault but so where others just as much

Which is the point.

Danny Rose gave the corner away for the first goal completely needlessly.

Our tactics for zones at corners need to be addressed before the final, IMO we need at least one marker man to man on VVD.

DeLigt got a run on Trippier, yes, but he was only in that position to try and disrupt him, not to win the ball. The referee somehow let a clear foul go that blocked off Vertonghen in the buildup even after VAR, which was astonishing to me.

As for the 2nd goal, arguably a foul in the build up again and a fair bit to do before what was a great finish.

Then to top it all off, some will ignore the rest of his contribution, key passes, including a large part in our equaliser, some really important challenges and working his socks off, getting up and down that line non-stop for 80 minutes.

Wanyama (think it was him) needs to be more aware of his surrounding on the second goal
