Trippier's capable and KWP can be fast tracked as an understudy. It's one position where we could pocket easy money.

But I wouldn't want us to sell him.

I think we have decided to cash in as well. No other reason why he would be left out of the very last NLD at WHL.

KWP signed a new long deal just after winks. Might see him integrated more next season too.

Which will be good, wanna see what poch can craft with that ability at a young age

A lot of 2+2=5 in this thread
You have to admit that Walker being left out of a semi final and the most important NLD in recent memory in the space of a week is a fairly significant development.

Obviously it would be premature to jump to any conclusions but it's not unreasonable to wonder whether something might be going on.

I'm not claiming to be ITK but I was told by someone who I believe would know, that Walker has told the club he wants to leave. He has the opportunity to earn substantially more than he does with us and he wants to take it. I have no idea whether the club will actually sell him or not. I appreciate this is all information which has already been speculated on here but this is apparently straight from the horse's mouth.

Heard he's off to Man City

Me too.

No doubt he would get 150k a week over there. If someone came in and more than doubled my pay then I'd go,

Unfortunately he won't be the first... I fear if walker goes then rose would also go if not this summer then next.

Anyways he will be staying I think.

A couple of media sources are reporting that he wants the same wages as HK and HL. Apparently he's on 60k a week. Not sure how true this is though.

Will be gutted if he leaves. Trippier is good but Walker is better and usually dominates the whole right side. Not many full backs who can do that, including Trippier.

I think Spurs fans are often ultra critical of Walker. All players make mistakes. He's not a good crosser on the move, and he sometimes does stupid things. But he has been integral to our success over the last few seasons.

Sad if true, don't think he has the ball playing technique for a pep team but he is an outstanding player, Trippier has been brilliant recently though, Kwp has been training with the first team too.

If he decides he wants to leave after what Poch has done for him in the last couple of years then so be it. I'd be surprised though.

The club comes first with Pochettino.

I really don't understand if he has been marginalised why he would have played against Palace. And come on again today as a sub. Marginalised is what Poch did to Townsend. I know Poch is an incredibly principled person and if he has gone to ask for more money while we are second in the league I would have honestly thought he wouldn't even make the bench. Townsend for an after match incident for refusing to warm down was very much let know he had no future at the club. In the end personally I hope we give him
A significant bump I think he's been top class under Poch and one of my favourite players at the club.

Don't really get the fuss over this Walker situation. Trippier has stepped up and Walkers form has dipped in recent weeks so I don't think it's strange that he's not playing. Newspapers need to write about something and we all know that 99% of it is lies.

One of big issues is why on earth would we help improve a club we are competing with? Walker could be creating a massive issue for himself here considering it's a World Cup year coming up. I really would be astonished if Levy and Poch allowed him to join City seeing as we want to win the league. If there's no foreign clubs willing to offer the fee it would require and wages he'd end up ostracised in same way others here under Poch have for a year. Thus losing his place in England squad.

If he's looking to leave I find it a case of strange timing, since he's been with us when we've been knocking on the door but falling short for years, and for the first time in recent memory we're actually finally a genuinely title-challenging side.

I can only assume City have been in his agent's ear and he feels that this is the right time for him to move to get that really big payday and also start to win stuff - which let's be honest City probably will sooner rather than later, as they'll throw whatever money it takes at it.

Marginalised is training with the youngsters and not playing at all.
