He was awful today, looked like the Walker of old whereas for most of the season in which he's been brilliant, he's looked like he's believed he's one of the best right backs and had played so IMO.

Like said though, the last 2 games he's looked like the old Walker, clumsy and a bit unsure of himself.

Because he doesn't have top tier mentality.

Yep. His mind is obviously not completely focused. You can tell he's 10/20% off his game and you can't have that at this level. Play Trippier every game now.

Hope he leaves after the last two shit show performances. His head has been turned and it's effecting his performance. Disappointing from someone who has been a good servant to the club.

It really isn't, his last two performances have been far the the level of performance he's shown most of the season. I would play Trippier too. Even when he came on today there was just a bit of hope that something might happen on that side, something that wasn't there previously.

He's one of the main men in the dressing room, so if his head has been turned that may ripple out across the squad.

Toby's not quite been at it lately either by his own very high standards.

Both have speculation about their futures in common.

It's gonna be a tough window if we now get the flip flops out early. What can Levy do to strengthen not weaken us....

Think I will hibernate

You're saying Dier is slow?

Where?

I'm saying he's not in the top 10 fastest players at Spurs. Rose, Walker, Trippier, Davies, Winks, Nkoudou, Sissoko, Son, Wanyama, Eriksen and Lamela are all faster than he is.

He's not slow but he is, by no stretch of the imagination, fast.

Very pissed off with him. Taken his eye off the ball and caused a problem at the key point in the season, purely in the pursuit of money. Head was elsewhere tonight.

KT to start the rest of the season. Have it out with Kyle in summer if he wants to stay great, if not cheers then..

We don't know this for sure yet, he certainly wasn't at it tonight though, none of the team was quite frankly, something was off about us.

One thing I will say is this, if Walker does go to City he is going to essentially undo what would have been a great career at spurs, he will be known as the man who left for a payday (because given our upwards trajectory and where we are currently it wouldn't be for anything else, let's face it.)

Even if that isn't the case, that's what everyone will think and they will likely look back at this performance and see it as the moment he let us down, fairly or unfairly.

What you really have to ask yourself is, why has there been a mass effort on behalf of the media to link numerous players of ours away this week of all weeks, I find that the most alarming part of it all, pretty clear it was to unsettle us and it looks like it worked.

If his head has been turned then money is the only reason and ergo fuck him.

What's being said you could easily say about Toby. He's not looked same level last few months and he was utterly woeful tonight. Reported contract dispute too. Maybe his heads gone and we should sell him.

Easy to single out Walker because of what's been going on, but I can't think of one single outfield player who played well tonight.
