I don't think Barnes is the right kind of winger for us to be honest. We need someone more in the mould of Martinelli who is more technical and creative, not someone direct in the way Barnes is.

Solomon isn’t that either. He’s more direct than either of those two. We have Kulusevski who is technical and creative.

I think some will be surprised if/when he signs and may be a really shrewd under the radar one.

IMO my hot take/prediction is that Sonny will have to be on his absolute A game coming into this season if this guy is behind him.

Solomon reminds me of Hazard and if Ange's system of the past is implemented then Solomon will be receiving the ball wide with 1 defender to beat

Yossi, Manor's father is a fitness trainer and I am a journalist who writes about soccer in Israel, but most of all I have been a Tottenham fanatic for 40 years. By chance, a boy from my town, Kfar Saba, will come to Tottenham...
I've never been enthusiastic about an Israeli player playing for us, but when it comes to Manor, I'm really excited. A very talented boy and an amazing guy.

I’ll be in Israel for the first premier league match, shall we try to meet up for the match?

Could we get Solomon and Barnes to replace Gil and Moura? Is Solomon any good on the right side?
I wouldn't mind both to compete with Son and Kulusevski. I think Barnes could do well making those Son runs in behind and Soloman running at fullbacks and linking play with midfield.

I agree and think this would be a perfect scenario. Issue is the sheer amount of work we need to do in the transfer market.

In a perfect world I’d like to see us sign 2/3 centre backs, another number 8 midfielder, and 2 wing forwards.

Tapsoba, VDV, Tosin, Scott, Barnes and Soloman.

Chances of all of that are pretty much zero. The good thing is, for the first time in a really long time, us as fans and the management seem to completely agree on what is required.

Willian seemingly looking elsewhere rather than sign again at Fulham - anyone who watched them last season will know that Solomon looked decent, but was rightly kept out of the XI by a born again Willian. Obviously it makes far more sense to get a young Solomon for free than an old ex Chelsea and Arsenal player but honestly, he was very good last season, we'd probably be signing him if Mourinho or Conte were still here !
Thank god they’re not. This is the first time it’s felt we’re moving in a positive direction, as a club, since Poch. It’s an overdue breath of fresh air.

Not much of a risk on a free but I can't say I'm all that impressed from what I've seen.

I wish this forum had a "remind me of this in x" script 😢
Why? He’s a very 50/50 signing done well in a very small sample size but not enough for anyone to be confident either way, very much a gamble.
I don’t think there’s a higher ground or I told you so position to be taken either way on this

Messaged a Fulham season ticket lad earlier. He said he thinks he’s a different class. Says William kept him out tho as he was brilliant. Said if they lose Paulinho and Solomon they are gonna be in trouble. Not relevant but he was concerned silva might be getting his head turned to management in Saudi?🤷‍♂️

Solomon would be our first Israeli since Ronnie wouldn’t he? Gawd bless Ronnie and his head-down running down the wing. If there were no white lines on the pitch he would’ve been in Tottenham High Rd every Saturday afternoon running past McDonald’s before he noticed the pitch was 3 miles back.

Solomon reminds me more of Lennon though. Maybe an Impact sub for a few games before the crowd demands he starts…. Would be a nice bonus….

Would still prefer if his surname was Mouse though.

Us and Arsenal have both been following him since he was at Shakhtar for what it’s worth, so we’ve clearly rated him for a while.

I agree but read the OP post again. It is beyond confident, hanging out in Nostradamus territory, hence my response.
