He's a bit raw, but I think he wil end up being a top player. Hugely skilful.

Some much needed depth for the left side.

So with Son away and Veliz out we could have Soloman back and I guess Scarlett comes in for Veliz. At least that gives us some attacking options off the bench now.

I'm actually not sure he will ever become a 'top player' tbh but I think he can and will be a very very useful squad player for us for a number of years.

I we sign Jota then that pushes Solomon further down the order and would imo effectively all but end Bryan Gil's time with us.

I'll take that virtual bet. Injuries pending, he'll be mustard.

If Mickey and Maddison are back for United we are in proper good nick. Really takes the edge of losing Bissouma, Sarr and Son.
Sign a CB this window and maybe a winger or midfielder and we can really push for a strong second half of this season.
Things could get really exciting in the league this year, potentially one of the closest for god knows how long and it's great to see.

I'd be really surprised if Soloman is ready to start that soon. I think we will have to go with Skipp or Hojbjerg for the next 2 games.

I really think that Solomon is the player with the highest upside relative to expectations during the second half of the season. The narrative when he signed was a mixture of blaming Levy for looking for the free deal and some viewed it as taking advantage of the war in Ukraine.

He was, in my opinion, the best positive surprise during pre-season together with Lo Celso. In one of his two starts in the league he created 5 chances and got 2 assists against Burnley.

Since then we've signed Johnson and (soon) Werner whereas Solomon has become somewhat forgotten, especially by rival fans.

He is our best dribbler in the forward line, can play on both flanks and is able to impact the game from the bench as he showed last season when he scored as a sub in three straight games for Fulham.
