Surely it was the lack of crystals and positive energy?
Sorry!
Nah mate, not enough lemons...
Surely it was the lack of crystals and positive energy?
Sorry!
I watched a video of him “walking” off the pitch. That has got to be a complete a tear. He can’t move the leg at all. Of course, that’s all based on googling everything so my medical evaluation is total bs, but it does mean my attempts at finding hope have so far proved fruitless.I used to play hockey at a high level - totally different sport, I appreciate that, but muscle injuries are the same. I’ve seen team mates bounce back from pulling up this way in less than a month I’ve had others who have had half a season wiped out. Depends on whether it’s a strain or a tear.
I fear for the worst having seen it today but hope for the better!
[having read the couple of above posts that sadly doesn’t fill me with confidence]

I’ve done my hammy a few times. That looked like a particularly bad one.I watched a video of him “walking” off the pitch. That has got to be a complete a tear. He can’t move the leg at all. Yeah, had honestly gotten over the result before the game had ended but VdV’s injury is gonna have me stressed for a while. Not just the games he’ll miss but the affect it will have on him going forward.Couldn't fucking sleep thinking about this. Literally the worst thing that can happen to a player with lightning pace. We are so cursed.
Definitely Dier. Also think we’ll see PEH used as a centre back before the kids.Who will partner Romero once he is back? Davies, Dier, Phillips, Dorrington? I reckon Ange will go for Davies, but that is just based on pre-season.
it was bound to happen at some point. unlucky to have both cbs out at the same time but we were always short on cover going in to the seasonWe are 100% cursed
Bissouma isn't strong enough for the role. We've got to trust that Ange can get out of Dier enough to see us through.Wondering if he might try Bissouma at CB. Has got some pace, can obviously tackle and would be very good at bring the ball out.

I think he has to bring one of the kids up(Dorrington) and hope they cope. If he isn't going to change the way we play, he has to change the personnel or we are going to see Dier lose footrace after footrace and it's going to cost us points every week. When we went down to 9 last night it was suicidal football to play that high line with the CB's we had on the pitch. A good team would have seen us lose by 7 or 8.Wondering if he might try Bissouma at CB. Has got some pace, can obviously tackle and would be very good at bring the ball out.

This this this, playing the high line is suicidal without the pace of VdV.I think he has to bring one of the kids up(Dorrington) and hope they cope. True. You only have to look at Sessegnon. He never fully recovered from his hamstring injuries. I so hope that won't be the case with Mickey...Couldn't fucking sleep thinking about this. Literally the worst thing that can happen to a player with lightning pace. We are so cursed.
I think it’s as much mental as physical with injuries like that.True. You only have to look at Sessegnon. He never fully recovered from his hamstring injuries. I so hope that won't be the case with Mickey...
