Its normally when they play and pick up injures, if he did that in training then there is nothing to say he wouldn't have did that with us.

Always liked Martinez.

Good lad, he gets it.

Funnily enough, he was just criticised by Roy Keane for when he was at Everton. Keane said the Everton players turned up to Ireland carrying knocks all the time, and that Martinez wasn't very good at handling players' injuries. Not giving them time to recover properly.

i think he's done the right thing this time.

I felt like this article fits in here since it talks a lot about Dembele and how our formation has adapted this year with him in it.

Being my verbal self I think it speaks to a lot of what I have seen this year and why I have been pretty hard on Dembele.

Dembele hasnt been great this season but the last 2 games I think he has been great and is beginning to get back to his best. Which is excellent for us because IMO he is the best CM in the PL.

You said to us before the interview ‘Mousa Dembele, wow’ - can you put into words what Mousa can do for this team?
Kyle: “It’s difficult to say! In training, I hate him because it’s so frustrating, I can’t get the ball off him! When he’s playing for you on a Saturday, he’s fantastic, a joy to watch. The ball is like glue, it doesn’t move from his feet.

“I always view him as left footed and I always think he’s going to go left but he pushes it that far, you can’t get it.

“He’s a joy to watch and young footballers coming through the Spurs Academy can look up to him and try to replicate what he’s doing.”

It never ceases to amaze me just how strong he is. His close control and ability to glide and/or burst past players by only using one foot is incredibly impressive, but he's got both lower- and upper-body strength such that it's pretty much impossible for another player to muscle him off the ball without fouling. Add that to how well he shields the ball and you have a beast of a midfielder.

The chance he created for Kane early in the Chelsea match was quintessential Dembele. He beat a player or two, then cut toward the inside. Kante tried to tackle him, but Dembele shielded the ball and Kante's leg just bounced off of Dembele like a tennis ball hitting a wall. Dembele didn't flinch, then scooped that ball just a bit too far out of Harry's reach.

Well half the season as gone already, so he has a lot of catching up to do.

Even in his bad games i still never think he goes completely missing. Even before he joined i always enjoyed watching him play due to his great control and strength. Since POch came in though he has improved more and more with his centre midfield play. Him and Wanyama just boss every other midfield.

I especially loved him playing against Wycombe , sliding past a couple of players and one of them couldn't stop him so they just had to hack him down. He must be a complete pain in the arse to play against.
