We have a shed load of important games coming up in the next couple of months. We looked dead in the second half today no energy.
If we don't bring in one or two we are going to struggle.
Dembele has been good for us but we cannot rely on his fitness and wanyama looks finished.
Seems we've made an offer for rabiot. Would you seriously rather we didn't get him? Or ndombele?

Right but again that comes down to who is available, if we're going to bring in either of those two then obviously it's a no brainer but what are the chances of either of those players coming in January?

You keep talking about relying on him and I keep saying we're not going to need to rely on him if he isn't 1st choice, the reason why we ran him down so much is because he was playing every 3 days, my scenario states that he will be 3rd/4th choice behind Winks, Sissoko and Dier.

No guarantee that a new signing would have freshened things up today, when you have Eriksen giving the ball away and failing to make 5 yard passes then that tells you all you need to know.

A fit again Dembele could just be just the tonic to turn a match and control the midfield, it's not as if we haven't see that before.

Think you're gonna be disappointed anyway, Poch has said on more than one occasion that it's unlikely we're going to do business in January.

It's a long time since we've seen a fit dembele.
We have 7 games in jan he will be required to start at least a couple and he is nowhere near match fit.
Go to the rabiot thread and see why there is a very good chance of getting him in jan. He is litterally locked out at psg.

If it is true I will miss him, great player we are lucky to have watched him play for us, shame his had injuries otherwise he was unplayable.

Mousa I love you, good luck in the future, you always came across as a great guy with a great love for spurs.

If true then we have to trust the club on it's decision they see him daily and know what is best for the club so if true thanks for everything moussa and good luck.

My favourite player (Spurs or otherwise) - just unreal skill on the ball.

I still think keeping him for the remainder is best given that any player we bring in now - Poch likes for them to bed in etc which means their impact potentially could be less than what Dembele could make

He could play for 5 min and get hurt again. Thats just the unfortunate reality of his situation at this point.

Sucks our depth has come to it but if we need money in and players out before we can actually spend its probably for the best.

Would it really surprise any of us if Dembele left this window and nobody came in?
