no idea, think it's just them changing things in the hope that something works.

Looking at the line ups, they have changed formation.
Went from a 433 to a 451 back to a 433 in the last game.

Hopefully he gets game time soon, or we can try and get him here in January

Good shout that. If he's suddenly not in the manager's plans, it would be great to get him here early.

If we did recall him, we probably won't be able to play him until maybe mid February as AFCON is from January 9th, 2022 - February 6th, 2022. Senegal have a pretty good team and could make it all the way to the finals.

I thought that bloody tournament had been moved so it didn't interfere with the normal season?

Or is this something that's been affected/previously stopped due to Covid?

I'm fully aware I could've just asked Google but I didn't think of that until now, and I'm fucked if I'm deleting what I've typed out now.

Similar issue to Qatar as weather was the deciding factor.

The tournament was originally scheduled to be played in June and July 2021 but the CAF announced on 15 January 2020 that due to unfavourable climatic conditions during this period, the tournament would take place from 9 January to 6 February 2021.
