How about to the tune of Driving In My Car by Madness….

I love Pape Matar Sarr
He’s our midfield superstar
Pape comes from Senegal
And he hates the Arsenal

Then just start singing

Pape Matar fucking Sarr
Pape Matar fucking Sarr
Pape Matar fucking Sarr
Pape Matar fucking Sarr

You can even add the ‘honk honk beep beep honk honk beep’ in between each line….. like this….

I love Pape Matar Sarr
honk honk beep beep honk honk beep
He’s our midfield superstar
honk honk beep beep honk honk beep
Pape comes from Senegal
honk honk beep beep honk honk beep
And he hates the Arsenal

I should be asleep.

Most of us believed Sarr was a good talent ahead of the season, but who really expected him to come into the midfield and boss it like he has? You can still see he has areas he can develop but he is so, so good. Bentancur will be getting a run for the money when he's back.

We have a wonderful selection of CMs these days . Skipp and Hojbjerg would walk into most midfields in the PL but are struggling to get into ours.

Because I honestly believe we have the best midfield in the league

Really? Rodri, Phillips, kovacic, nunez, silva m, de bruyne is miles ahead.
Yeh it’s not really close, but we have lots of room to grow with this group and could be right up there within a few years (coupled with some other teams midfields aging). Sarr has been brilliant but he has so much room to grow. Bissouma and Maddison are finally going to get a consistent run under a quality coach in a good team and can get to another level. Bentancur is quality!

He’s better than Jude Bellingham ;-)

He has a bit of everything to his game doesn’t he. Nice close control, cool head when being put under pressure, height, pace with a long leg stride, unreal stamina, an eye for goal, good reading of the game etc etc.

To top it all, he clearly has an excellent personality and work ethic. Love the fact he is always smiling, reminds me of Sonny in that he is just a humble nice guy.

At just turned 21 I would argue he is the best young centre midfielder in the league, not sure there are money contenders who come even close.

I would say Citeh has a better depth. don't think there is significant difference in quality between Maddison/Bissouma/Bentancur and KDB/B.Silva/Rodri

We start to see signs of a decent, functioning midfield for five games and some of you are claiming it's better than the side that has won five out of the last six Premier League titles?

Don't be 'those' fans.

Not exactly…. De Bruyne and Silva are actually injured right now. It’s not speculation.
Well some are including Bent. Hexis not back yet and we don't at what level he will be.

I am excited about the way we are playing but we need to get one time through the league beforecweccan really access where we are.
