His workrate is pretty immense.
It's gonna take a lot to cover what he does without the ball, especially the covering for Porro.

And he does it all with a smile. :D

Not sure a more established pro would relish that role with the amount of tireless running involved...
Love how this is off topic :ROFLMAO:

Why Sarr left the pitch yesterday before Bissouma is a mystery to me. Biss was on a yellow and playing terribly. Sarr can run all day and we needed that yesterday. OK, he wasn't brilliant but who was? For me, if he is not on a caution you leave him on the pitch at the moment. None of our other midfielders get us up the pitch quicker than he does and he tracks runners better than both PEH and Bissouma.

He was played out of position and subsequently struggled.

Not only was he out of position in the sense that he was playing the Maddison role, as a result he was also on the left of midfield instead of the right which completely changed the angles he had to play at.

It was a really poor decision by Ange imo.

And one he could have rectified by removing Biss for Lo Celso or Bentancur and restoring Sarr to his correct position. Sarr had liiterally just headed a dangerous cross clear from a set piece and he still had much to offer that match.

He mentioned he came back with a knock and was 50/50 for today. Doesnt sound serious and so hopefully back for next week.

Behind Richy in his recovery according to Ange. He said both could be a couple of weeks. No surprise he’s still out, hamstring issues are never easy and the fact he didn’t make the Villa bench means it was always going to be a stretch for City.

Really sad. Thought it was just some fatigue or slight knock keeping him out of Villa game. 😞

Well that sucks. Has to be Bissouma, Kulusevski and Lo Celso which all things considering is still a good 3. A chance for Gil to perform on the left again before Richarlison returns.
