Ange saying post-match Sarr has been managing a back issue since the ACN. Not a major thing and he's still been training but that it is 'restricting' him. Probably explains why he started on the bench today.

Not surprised at all. Man's been carrying Spurs and his country on his back all season. Was bound to catch up sooner or later.

I’m not one for putting players in a position on the pitch that they’re not made for, but I would be intrigued if we were to play Sarr at RB while Pedro is out. He would basically be doing a mirror image of Udogie on the left. I think that could work really well.

His defending isn't good enough. Is he honestly going to make that recovery tackle that Emerson did 2nd half yesterday? Porro has been excellent in getting back to defend when needed. It's a totally different requirement playing that role to what Sarr has been doing.

not sure he is robust enough to tackle, has never really had to hold the line (up top or at the back), is not especially good in the air and can't really cross (although Royal's crossing is not great)

Given his age and being his first season in the Prem I was impressed by him at the beginning of the season but am always wary of young players having down periods.

He's been excellent all season and our best midfielder in the deeper 6/8 positions. If Bissouma and Bentancur can get to their previous levels we are so strong in this position.

Forget how young he is when he plays with such a confidence and ease. Oh and that ball for Maddison was delightful.. Never let him go. Never.

None of our whole gamut of midfield players can / would have made that assist

the willingness and desire to run into space and then to deliver such a peach of a ball

👏🏻

A freak athlete who works so hard for the team. Add into that his top technical security. His incredible off ball work in possession with the space he creates and his runs. His final third production, quality, and potential. The true engine in this team. A true world class talent. Him and Destiny for 30 mil?! Joke.

That he and Udogie are already performing at such consistently high levels is nuts.

Plus the overall youth of our defenders in general with Romero being the 'veteran' still only in his mid 20s bodes exceedingly well going forwards.

Just watched a replay of the first goal. He was just recovering from a stumble as he whipped that cross in. Incredible technique.
