Controversial but I wouldn't mind seeing Winks in a midfield 3 if we have to revert tactics. Think he would work well with PEH/Skipp alongside Bents
I didn't word this very well. I wasn't wanting Winks starting in a 2 man middle as we get drowned out but in a 3 man middle, if he is coming off the bench I dont think he would be that bad.

If PEH and Bentancur continue to play well then it’s up to Skipp to break into tea, (assuming he can get fit).

But if he does get in and plays better than naturally he should start.

Fuck changing the system now it's finally paying dividends, and especially not to accommodate Harry Winks.

Still. Why the heck would you bring on Winks when you're likely to have 1 of Bergwijn, Lucas, Skipp or Hojbjerg sat next to him?

Bloody hell, even Gollini would be a better option.

Always felt that Hojbjerg would not have looked out of place in the Inter side under Conte and we would probably be crying out to sign someone like him if that were the case

Thought he was absolutely amazing today (and for the past month or 2). Again like a warrior, and some classy moments like his turn in the second half near the half way line. Time and time again I’ll say it, needs more respect.

Certainly in the 2nd half, after Conte probably ripped into all the players but he was shocking in the 1st half.

I give him a lot of stick as he’s limited but now he’s going less and he has Rodrigo by his side he’s doing less but more collectively

Be interesting to see what happens when skipp back. Think holjberg will keep his place to partner Bentacour

No reason to drop either. Skipp will need to work hard to get in.

Hopefully Skipp is back soon and we see him off the bench when needed.

I don't think it matters what combination of those 3 you put out, they will do the job. Would be useful if we needed to rotate.

I think Bentancur offers something different than Skipp and Hojbjerg. I would be very worried if he got injured.

He just wasn’t “shocking”. Why do people resort to such silly language? He was below his best in the first half but improved in the second half.

I would pick Bentancur every time, but Skipp and Hojbjerg can do the job if needed.

It just gives us an option to rest one if needed.

He's proving he's got what it takes to up his game when it matters. He had a poor first half yesterday summed up by a header he ducked out of in injury time, but he came out in the second half and absolutely bossed it. Credit where it's due he's been integral along with Bentancur to our upturn in form.

I'll stick by what I wrote. His past performances have been stellar and his 1st half performance vs Villa was a shocking drop in quality compared to his previous outings. It's not silly language, if there's applicable context.

Only thing that worries is me is that at times he charges out of position and completely mistimes it, simply being stepped around by his opponent.
