I think Levy sticking with him through his troubles, as far as possible, will be rewarded. To be fair there were plenty of people saying we should cut him loose.

I’ve got a great feeling about this one. Sounds like he’s got the right mentality and he looks tailor made for the PL. Short term impact is going to be huge given our injury crisis, and if he can shore up our defence, we can hopefully nick the occasional clean sheet which would go some way to taking the pressure off our forwards and mitigating the loss of Son. Long term I hope he ultimately supplants Romero or at the very least helps sharpen his focus on keeping himself available and in the starting XI.

Massive deal - as good as we could’ve hoped for in this window - and huge props to all involved for pulling this off.
