Just read the latest update from gsp.ro, our biggest sport newspaper, and they seem to found out the reason why the announcement was delayed:

Astăzi, 11 ianuarie, Radu Drăgușin (21 de ani) a fost prezentat oficial la Tottenham. Prima parte a prezentării a fost un teaser. A urmat apoi un video, cu mesajul „Enter The Drăgușin”, ulterior și anunțul oficial pe site-ul clubului englez.

In the same article his Romanian agent (I can't stand him... because he made a big scandal more than a year ago as why Dragusin was called for the u21 national team and not for the senior team and threatened that his player will not play for Romania anymore) he s is saying that Drăgusin will be in the team on Sunday, for Tottenham's match with Manchester United , and could make his debut.
"He will be in the 20-man squad for the match against United, I will also attend the game, we'll see, maybe he will surprise us and make his debut. The first match would be at United's home, the next with City at home, in the Cup", said Florin Manea, on Digi Sport's "Footbal Club"."
