Surely he talked with Vlad about his opinion on the Spurs opportunity. Actually his first game as a starter in the senior national team was alongside Vlad in the center of defense. Vlad was my favorite Romanian defender but he never toned down his craziness on the field and became injury prone. What a wasted potential... now he is back at Steaua and guess what... he is out with a major injury since summer 2023 after playing only 2 or 3 games in the starting season.
