As a way of getting Lucas into the team and compensating for Kulu's lack of pace on the right I'd like to see us try this:
Lloris
Romero -- Dier -- Davies
Lucas -- Skipp-- Bentancur -- Reguilon
Kulusevski -- Kane -- Son
He's the exact profile of player you'd want for Conte's inside forward role - works hard, physically strong, eye for a pass, good shot on him etc I'm really optimistic about this.
Does anyone know if this guy has lost form or something this year? Why is he so cheap when he is so young and won titles playing lots for juventus?
I think it’s creative accounting with the Kulusevski all in fee being €40m. Saves Juve around 4m. Say they rate both at €30m, at full rate, Boca Juniors gets €10m. Inflating Kulusevski some of the Bentancur fee saves a few €€€Does anyone know if this guy has lost form or something this year? Prob already covered but is he our first Uruguayan?

Nah - third; apparently we've had two Poyet's playing for us in the past!Poyet
Wrong thread mate. You want Kulu’s one
He has quicker feet and similar defensive instincts but PEH is underrated going forward and probably offers much more than Bentancur in that aspect. He looks like a much more mobile hojberg?
Looked great against Milan
From what you said, it means there will be no 'increase' in midfield fluidity, just means there will be more consistent solidity when PEH or Skipp is out.I watched that match and it was terrible game. The thing with Bentacur is that build up play and attacking wise he offers very little. This isn't bias, but from watching him play, that game for example resulted in Juve having zero shots on goal.
At the moment he is a body that will allow the others to rest but I don't believe he will offer anything different to the current midfield 3 we have.
