As a way of getting Lucas into the team and compensating for Kulu's lack of pace on the right I'd like to see us try this:

Lloris
Romero -- Dier -- Davies
Lucas -- Skipp-- Bentancur -- Reguilon
Kulusevski -- Kane -- Son

Kulusevski is quick. Also covers lot of ground between 11-12km a game

He's the exact profile of player you'd want for Conte's inside forward role - works hard, physically strong, eye for a pass, good shot on him etc I'm really optimistic about this.

Does anyone know if this guy has lost form or something this year? Why is he so cheap when he is so young and won titles playing lots for juventus?

Likely a lower fee so Juve don't have to spend much to his previous club for sell on clauses etc. The money'll be made up to Juve with Kulusevski's fees.

I think it’s creative accounting with the Kulusevski all in fee being €40m. Saves Juve around 4m. Say they rate both at €30m, at full rate, Boca Juniors gets €10m. Inflating Kulusevski some of the Bentancur fee saves a few €€€

looks a technical level above our current CM. Very comfortable on the ball. Doesn’t need to be a Jorginho like regista but he improves our CM definitely.

I’m really excited to have another option in central midfield. He’ll need to be cut some slack this season though with having to come to terms with the league. Let’s see how he does.

Gedson and Sandro's former number. Let's hope he plays like the latter.

From what someone said yesterday about his link to the #30 shirt, he was always gonna take that. I thought Kulusevski may have tried the cursed 9 for us tho? Although it does remind me of seeing Nico play for us.

Looked great against Milan

I watched that match and it was terrible game. The thing with Bentacur is that build up play and attacking wise he offers very little. This isn't bias, but from watching him play, that game for example resulted in Juve having zero shots on goal.

At the moment he is a body that will allow the others to rest but I don't believe he will offer anything different to the current midfield 3 we have.

From what you said, it means there will be no 'increase' in midfield fluidity, just means there will be more consistent solidity when PEH or Skipp is out.

So I will temper my expectations a bit and expect more consistency, but we will still lose to the big teams..at least till the summer?
