Judging by the replies since, it’s clear that you clearly weren’t clear enough.

I’d stick with the wink.

I did think long and hard about the wink because I thought otherwise it might be too subtle. Anyway back on topic ?

Special mention to this absolute baller tonight. I thought he was fantastic from start to finish. Such a silky, class player with an excellent work ethic. Well played Rodrigo!

He laid the foundation, and I like him a lot, but the game was crying out for Eriksen (or the like) next to him to open it up a bit.

I get that we can’t be giving goals away but at the moment it feels like we’re too conservative

I am a huge fan of bentancur but thought he was poor tonight, particularly in the first half. He was struggling to find a spurs player with his passing and his usual elegance on the ball was not up to it.

I agree, I was very surprised by some comments above. He passed the ball out of play 3/4 times under no real pressure

Was at the game and sorry but I saw the complete opposite. I thought whilst others were weak last night he was everywhere and absolute class. Covers so much ground, has real grit and yet the silky touch, vision and style. He’s entitled to misplace the odd ball given how involved he is. I’m at a loss how we secured for such a low fee.

The couple of Juve games I saw him in looked like he was basically redundant as most of their play was based in the opposition half.
He was simply playing sideways passes from one wing to the other when they needed a proper playmaker to thread balls through.

For us his role is receiving deeper and then getting the ball to Son/Kulu/Kane etc to get the ball forward which is what he excels at.

I think this probably highlights where Conte has stated what type of player he wants and Paratici has gone away and found one that was surplus to requirements so ended up being cheap.

I also noticed Kulu being very average in these games as he was getting no support from his RB so was expected to beat two men on his own where he struggled.
In our system he has an overlapping WB to occupy one of the opposition which leaves him one on one where he looks far more dangerous.

Brilliant player. I got worried when I saw him buckle and fall towards the end of the game. Looked like the exact same injury that he got vs Burnley last season and I hope he doesn't develop any lingering issues from it. The 352 really brings out another facet of his game and I hope we see him join the attack more.

Convinced he has extendable toes.

Carried the team on his back today until Bissouma and Romero came on, another quality performance. MOTM for me, even with Sonny hat tricking.

Probably my favourite player at the moment. So good. Tenacious, smooth on the ball, tough tackler. Deserved his goal and was so important for us, starting so many good moves. What a signing!
