I do think Aurier is worth keeping around, he's proven he can do a job for us

Not for me, time to move him on. Playground player with too many basic defensive flaws that can't be coached out of him at his age. Mourinho will want defenders he can rely on and reliable is not something you'd associate with Aurier. Fingers crossed he is gone by the time next season starts.

I thought he did OK yesterday, but every game he always seems to be at the centre of something, be it a tussle or a penalty claim etc, instead of just doing his job effectively.

Shame as I think he has a lot of really good natural attributes but he's never going to be a player you can rely on, and in a Mourinho system where clean sheets are valued above all else, he can't be a long term solution.

Liverpool play with the intent on creating space for their full backs, it is no coincidence their full backs are always in space. Ours? our full backs are always up against two or three players because our play is so so so so so so so so so slooooooooooooooow.

Aurier has a decent delivery and can score a goal or two but right now our shoddy tactics are not conducive to bringing the best out of players including Aurier.

I think the pivot midfield leaves our fullbacks exposed in way that Liverpool's aren't. TAA and Robertson aren't particularly good defenders but they always have plenty of help. Ours don't. Aurier has also made some significant contributions going forward but I don't suppose that fits the general 'he's shit' agenda.

He's been awful the last four matches. He had a good string of games a month or two ago, but other than that of games period he's been bad since he joined the club.

Gazzanigia is nowhere near good enough.

Aurier has talent but I just don’t think he can be trusted. Too many mistakes and brain farts. Not for me, I like defenders who can defend. Call me old fashioned.
