It was the European game. I really like the way that Soldado interacts with the other players, and in particular he took exactly the right approach with Fredericks.

Starting to think Bobby has a real good influence on Ade on the pitch, like when he scored that penalty vs the saints, straight to Ade with that angry-winning face, maybe he's bringing out some winning mentality in Ade.

One has played half a season and scored one goal from open play, the other has in my opinion a well deserved reputation for playing for a contract. Together they have played about four games? Don't you think it's bloody ridiculous to say they are going to be at that level at this stage.

Why can't we be realistic, they look good together, no more no less. In the past forty years I have seen more false dawns than a man in a false dawn factory. I hope you will understand my reluctance to get too excited.

Massive asset to have upfront. Links up well with a lot of players and I think he'll get the best out of Ade. Quite weird though, I never thought Soldado could play this kinda role (so well) but he has the vision and ability to spot smart passes/crosses.

Think he is a little bit unlucky sometimes with sitters. I hope it's just a matter of time for him to bag those. Sometimes I'm well amazed how he can get some very very hard crosses onto goal but not bag those easy ones.

I know there is a good player in Soldado I feel it in my waters! But he has to start finishing these chances he gets. He requires service to play at full capacity, and I can't help but feel he has been getting that service from the past few games. He has to start finishing or there can't be any more excuses

The sub was bizarre. It was clear from about 20 minutes in that Adebayor was not at the races today. He was clearly knackered and perhaps not mentally up for it. Soldado should have stayed on.

My only concern with him is that he's snatching at his shots. I've seen enough of his goals over the last 3 years to know that he is a fantastic finisher, but anyone who wouldn't have seen him before would think he's another Heskey.

I get that Tim wants to keep Ade on side for as long as possible, but he was poor.
He seems to be in a pattern of 1 good game 1 bad at the moment. (obviously only 4 game sample)
