Its been said a number of times before, along the lines of 'that sums up his Spurs career' or 'that's it. I'm done with him'... But I think what happened tonight may be the moment where the majority completely lose patience with him. It might get better, I hope it happens for Spurs' sake, but I cant see a way back for him now.

Oh dear. Any forward worth his salt wouldn't have even thought of passing to Chadli. Should be gobbling up chances like that.

The right thing to do would have been to pass to Chadli. Pass he didn't.

A SIMPLE PASS.

Many fans remained patient with Bobby but I think unfortunately for him today will be the turning point from the fans and Poch.

Unless Kane gets injured I doubt we'll see him start another game for us ever again.

My thoughts exactly. He needs go. Tonight alone knocked £10M off his value.

I don't think he'll ever recover from this, his f-up basically knocked us out the Europa - we score and we probably go on to win. Subsidize his wages and loan him out to whoever next season because no-one will buy him and pay him what we are.

His value wasn't even £10m+ anyway. Who could have paid that much for him? None of the Spanish clubs (those who would want him) could stump up that money, plus wages. Middle East club might pay his wages but not a transfer fee like that.

I reckon the best way of getting rid of him would be if there was a player we wanted in Spain for a swap deal, otherwise realistically its a loan or giving him away for £5-7m, in my opinion.

Not trying to make a snide comment here, but I would be genuinely amazed if he had £10m of market value to knock off his price tag before tonight anyway. But you're right in that tonight's shambles will make it tough for us to even give him away for free this summer.

I can't stand posers who bang on about getting rid at the club's expense.
Before you make a post along the lines of 'lets sell him for dirt cheap' / 'subsidize his wages' etc please think before you write. Getting rid at a loss is bad for a club, not good.

I'm done with him too.

How bad can one possibly get? What a waste of money.

Totally inept, worse than a school boy. How that's even possible, I don't know, but we have him here.

He won't be here next year. I think even Levy will realise we're flogging a dead horse with Bobby. I expect him to be quietly sold off to Turkey or somewhere for 12mil.

He has no value at the moment. Given his wages (I estimate over 40k/week) few clubs can afford that, let alone pay a fee for it.
Its a similar situation to Torres back in the day. No one was willing to both pay high wages and a transfer fee for a proven failure.

Our only option is really to hope that a former club e.g. Valencia is willing to take him on at much lower wages.
But a player is unlikely to agree to getting paid less unless his contract is near its end. Which means playing him and hoping he comes good is really our only viable option.

We would never get what we paid for him but I'm sure levy would still have held out for at least £15M. I think when he does go it'll be around the £9M-£11M mark, but he has to go.

He's lost his place to Adebayor in the squad for Chelsea now, surely at the very least. It's set up for yet another Ade comeback.

I could cry.

More like double that!
