What a season he's having. Not bad for a player who "Can't control a football" ..

I think his strength has been significantly improved this season. Defenders can not easily force him to dispossess unlike last season. I think we need to thank Poch's training method. Lamela also improved his strength after Poch's arrival.

His second touch for his goal was sublime. A deft little prod that put the ball in precisely the right place for the shot, and kept it away from the defender.

Look, i don't care, i'm just gonna say it.

Son is playing with the confidence of prime spurs Bale right now.

What I like is he is really moving the ball a lot quicker. He used to take way too many touches and often be very sloppy and lethargic with his back to goal. But no he's zipping all over the place, moving quickly when a chance isn't on and turning into spaces. Very happy with him. To think he is most likely gonna keep out one of Dier and Wanyama out of the squad is a great credit!
Simple thing really - confidence. When you feel good you don't need to take that extra touch.

Nope, in their own Spurs bubble.

He really is an excellent player. Goals, workrate, very direct and he seems to have an excellent attitude. Very difficult to drop him at the moment.

To me it seemed like after the loss at Anfield where the team had two heart to hearts that HMS really started to get it that he needed to look up quicker and either pass or fashion his own chance. I half suspect that it came from teammates as much as the coaching staff. You could visibly see the frustration other players had when he would lose the ball so consistently by dilly dallying.

The change in his play since then has been dramatic in terms of productivity.

Going to be really unlucky to be dropped for the semi as we will need to play 3 at the back.

Son Heung-min Ties Single-Season Scoring Record for Korean Playing in Europe

Son Heung-min of Tottenham Hotspur tied two Korean scoring records with a goal on Saturday. Son scored his 12th goal of the English Premier League season against Bournemouth at White Hart Lane, taking his season tally to 19 goals.

With Spurs leading 1-0, Son added a second in the 19th minute off a pass from Harry Kane. Spurs went on to beat Bournemouth 4-0.

Son has now scored 12 goals in the EPL, six in the FA Cup, and one goal in the UEFA Champions League this season.

The goal against Bournemouth saw Son draw level with two Korean football legends. Son tied Cha Bum-kun's goal-scoring record in a season for a Korean playing for a European team. Cha scored 19 goals for Bayer Leverkusen in Germany's Bundesliga in 1985-1986.

He also tied Park Ji-sung's record of 27 EPL goals, scored for Manchester United and Queens Park Rangers over eight seasons from 2005-2006.

Son's 27th career goal came in just his second season in the EPL. Unlike Park, who was an all-around midfielder, Son is a winger, playing in a more purely attacking position, but his results are still considered to be quite impressive.

Son has at least seven more matches to play this season. He only needs one more goal to move beyond Cha and Park. No Asian player has ever scored 20 goals in a season in England.
