Please don’t let it be “we’ve only got one Son”.

He's a wonderful player that deserves to be starting consistently.

He may be a wonderful person (according to some ITK he's well liked in the "dressing room") and he's certainly been a wonderful players the last 2 games....but he's not always been a wonderful player and have had plenty of average games this season.

What do you have against son he's been our second best attacker this season, you sure you dont wanna throw in a bah humbug for good measures. Tis the season.

no one ever said anything about turning him into wanyama. him and lamela needs to improve their core strength

Nah, that boat sailed some time ago.

Unquestionably, Lamela lacked upper body strength when he arrived in England and it caused him a lot of problems in his first season-and-a-half. But he dealt with it - we all saw the photos of him in the gym - and his last fully-fit season revealed him as a hard-tackling, combative midfielder with ample strength. If he gets his core and upper body strength back to where they were before his hips caused problems, that will be more than sufficient.

As for Son, again, you're making a recommendation that has already been noted, acted upon and sorted out. Son took only one season to improve his core strength and balance to the level required in the Premiership. The result: 21 goals last season. You can't do that if you lack core body strength. Not in this league.

I am curious so why?
Out for so long, away for rehab for a period in Roma, not trained with the team for a year, and still like getting along well with a fringe player like Wimmer. Just my 2 cents of surprise. Nothing more of implying social stigma or any traits of Lamela to suggest he's introvert or anti-social or whatever. I don't know him personally anyway.

But most important of all, this just go to show how harmonious the dressing room is.

If we play a back three and wing backs I'd like to see him up top alongside Kane in a 3-5-2 as gives him more of a free role.

Always really liked him and was excited when we first got him, he has blown hot and cold a bit but at the moment he's in one of his sexy phases like second half of last season and so good having two lethal goals threats in team in him and Kane as opponents can't deal with it if they're both on form.

I have nothing against him just I don't have a short memory. Not long ago Dele was the one of the first players fans wanted in the starting XI but now many want to drop him to the bench. I just want Son to prove himself in more than 2-3 games (sure he's had some really good games for that too). In all those draws, and against the loss vs Leicester, he did not show that much really. He is still very much up and down: scores brilliantly taken goals only to squander easy chances (well, yes, all players squander chances I know - even Messi, Ronaldo, Kane etc).
He thrives when he's got space to run in but when up against parked buses his first touch often lets him down.
But if he keep on playing like the last 2 games, yes then he should be a starter.

That's fair, I just think your worries are a bit outdated. Son is really playing at a really high level atm, look how he absolutely tore apart Stoke, been fantastic in champions league and has at least looked lively all season. He misses some chances but it's more important that he is getting in those goal scoring positions, as his scoring record has shown he knocks them in regulary enough.

Also Dele's never been one of the first names in fans lineups, as there always been a pretty vocal bunch that constantly moan about his all around game. Personally I dont think Dele's playing all that horrible, just think certain fans are always going to overreact in a negative when things arent going their way.

Because of our lack of attacking options we've been unable to use Son in a 3 behind Kane as it left us with no subs and no way to rotate when playing twice a week.
Now Lamela's back we have a bench/rotation option which should allow us to play this formation more often. As a result I think we might see a lot more of Son in the next couple of months.
