That video with all those poch players made me so emotional I love that group of players so much. It makes me so sad that they never won anything together and that Dele isnt still at the club doing what he did best.

We absolutely need to win something for Sonny Im sick of watching these remarkable people give there all for the club and end up empty handed.

In my opinion more of a legend than Kane.
In my opinion Kane will have a bigger lasting legacy due to being our greatest ever goalscorer and this is no disrespect to Son. People see Son as a bigger legend now because he is still here and Kane has only just left so there's a tinge of bitterness or sadness about it as it's still raw.

After Son has gone and enough time has passed Kane will be the bigger legend. That is unless we win an FA Cup or something with Son as captain. Even then he is up against the top goalscorer in our HISTORY.

Son will always have a special place in my heart due to his infectious persona.

Just looking at the guy makes me smile (until he miscontrols an easy ball :D)

He and Kane both ledges

Think we may have a problem in future because I'm not actually sure what he is anymore. He's not a winger and he isn't a striker, tactically Ange needs to figure out where he wants to play Son long term before we make any signings.
When he has 15 goals (comfortably the most) and 8 assists (also the most) does it matter if he's a bit of an odd fit?

His all-round play is definitely not what it was but if he gets another 30 goal-assist season that's enough for me to not be all that worried.

It's a shame Richy isn't fit, if he was I would put Son on bench for Newcastle game. He had another poor game today and is in a bad run. Maybe could do with coming on after 60/70 minutes against tired defenders to get some confidence back.
Hope he hits form again very quickly as we can't afford for him to be this bad when we play the top 3

Sure about that?

Against the better teams away from home when there is space behind the defence is exactly the games where he is at his best.

Goal and assist at the Etihad. Two goals at the Emirates. Goal and two assist at Villa Park.

13 goal contributions in the last 13 games ain't much to worry about either.

Do you honestly believe he's been playing well in the last 6/7 games? Against Fulham and west ham he was our worst player. Only a real lack of a replacement kept him on pitch yesterday.
Every player has bad runs of form and sonny, as brilliant as he is, can be a streaky player and recently hes been way off it. If Richarlison was fit I would start him against Newcastle and aim to bring on sonny late in game to see if he can have another Leicester moment.

He wasn’t at he’s best, but he did almost score with the only real opportunity he got. He’s performance I think are partly also down to the team, how many chances are we feeding him the last couple of games, he’s biggest assets are his pace and finishing but we insist on playing the game on walking pace, he’s runs were always ignored and doesn’t get the ball until the penalty box are crowded with defenders. We have one of if not the fastest front three in the league so why don’t we play to their strength and release them early with quicker transitions instead of spending 2 minutes passing between our CBs until the opposition had set up their defensive shape. Son and Werner makes so many runs each game that no one tried to pick out, it’s just so frustrating, even more so I imagined for those players that are making those runs.

Looks completely shagged out to me. Which is unsurprising given all the games he’s played this season, and the fact we’ve had internationals followed by three games in a week.

When Son isn’t running at goal or pressuring the opposition, he is a major hindrance.

His touch and hold-up play is nothing short of abysmal, and today it was at its absolute worst.

Tragic performance.
