I think we underestimate or perhaps just forget how often under peak Poch Spurs a player like Bergiwjn would have been in those opportunities. Son/Kane/Dele/Eriksen constantly missed those chances but we were on the front foot and in attack SO MUCH you could flex those screw ups because you had 3 or 4 more like it per match and if not others did to balance it out and fans would forget. Our current setups under Jose and through the first 2 games under Nuno rely so much on making that 1 or 2 chances matter it makes everyone look so much better or worse because you remember every single one.
I thought he was ok today but you know that's the case. Dele was and is the same probably a 1 in 3 or 4 chance goal scorer.

I think it will improve with game time for SB that take on down the line at the end of the game was special, not many people can do that.

Damn you for being able to put this in a much more eloquent thoughtful manner than I.

He gets one maybe 2 shots on goal a game and so people think his finishing sucks. Prime Poch we're berating the other teams defense and Bergwijn is getting 4-5 chances on a day like today.

We've been spoiled by Kane & Sons ridiculous efficiency. We've got to do a better job of keeping the ball & creating chances and I think Bergwijn can flourish.

Rather Traore if we're going to give a starting XI spot to someone who cant finish/score goals

Look bright again after coming on. Looks a different player this season. Excited to see what’s to come. Hopefully starts finishing these chances soon.

I want to know what the hell Mourinho was doing in training. Every player looks better this season (I don’t consider Matt Doherty a footballer so he doesn’t count in this scenario).

Looked a live-wire when he came on. Looks fitter and faster. Based on the minutes Lucas played tonight I wonder if Bergwijn has got the nod alongside Kane and Son on Sunday. Big vote of confidence by Nuno if so.

I have been so impressed with him so far this season. I know it's only a few games but he looks so much more confident on the ball.
Looks a different player from last season. Delighted for him.

Agree. He just looks quicker and fitter. I wonder what the hell Mou did on the fitness side of things.

More confident too. I think he could come good this year actually. Definitely has a shout

Nuno appears much more focused on the mental side of things. Says the right things to the players and focuses on getting their confidence up. Some players will naturally need more support than others. Jose was very poor at this clearly. Players so scared of making mistakes and what Jose would then think of it.

Looks very lively so far this season and a good cameo when he came on yesterday. Needs a goal badly though and hopefully if he gets one he will kick on even more.
