If you just want him gone because he's not your type of player, fill your boots.

If you want him gone for a host of guessed at reasons, rumours then yes, shame on you.

You've seen the Crucible right?

the whole argument is that he is a footballer who for two years has been a major disappointment - we paid a lot of money for him and still really don't know his best role in a side and he has fitness issues - everything else is a side issue hopefully someone else will buy him and put an end to the charade

I was so excited when he came and then there are those beautiful bits of skills and random moments when you think he has lost and voila! He has it again.
Sadly there have been too few for various reasons. Sadly I think he is unhappy and it’s obviously not clicking with the managers. It’s hard for him to stay the course for 90mins whatever the reason and this league is unforgiving. If we can get a swap deal or whatever then it’s probably best for everyone. Huge talent but it’s not quite working.

The guy just needs to get his head down, do what the coaching staff ask, and work his arse off to get back in the team. He is one of the most talented players in the squad so it really is just about how much he wants it. What is being asked of him really isn’t going to be any different at any other top team so if he can’t handle it here I think the only way is down for his career.

I’m not giving up on him but if find the whole thing frustrating as fuck considering the massive talent he has.

Urgh. Kinda gutted about how this is panning out. He's so fun and effective at what he does, and we've been crying out for an elite passing deep midfielder since Modric (even though Eriksen did take it upon himself to be that as well as a no. 10 at times).

Or lt's give him a season under Nuno? Properly address his fitness needs and see if he can work himself into the team.

If he can't then we should move him on, like any player who doesn't fit.

Let’s see how good Paratici is finding a home for him. And yes, I have given up on him, attitude and character are not easy to develop if they‘re not part of your make up. The opportunity cost of this guy is phenomenal.

I really don't think Paratici will have much control over this. Finding a buyer to pay his £200k a week salary will be extremely difficult.

Nuno wants 100% out of his players then challenge themselves to get even more out of themselves. N’dombele obviously isn’t anywhere near it or he’d be in Thursdays squad. I think they’ll unload him whatever, and that may mean another premier league team willing to pay his wages on a loan deal. You may have to be prepared to see him play in Everton blue on MOTD!

Isn’t that where we need to try find a swap or loan type arrangement, hence the DOF. Even if we have to subsidise the wages, better that than a dead weight costing the full 200k pow.

Worst would be if he just stays with us but never plays. That would surely not help his market value or help him to turn things around a bit.

We could loan him out and take a hit. But again I'm not sure how much power Paratici will have over that.

Personally, I'd rather the coaching staff work with him and see if they can get something out of him than loan him out.

To your argument. You presume that you know these things about him, his motivation, his strategy on the pitch, his feelings about how his teammates have been treated. You presume to know his mind, soul, heart because you've seen him play football in a way you don't like and you've heard some gossip?

Tell me who is arrogant?

With regards to thinking you know the answers because you saw it on the internet, the OED definition does not deal with the origins of the word or how it was made.

The 'a' of anything is its absence: amoral, asexual, apolitical.
Rogare it the latin for 'to ask'

The term 'arrogance' was coined to explain those people so deluded and self righteous that they presume to know all the answers and stop asking questions. Like people who google a word to see if they can win a lost argument through semantics.
I don't presume to know his motivation. You are the one who seems obsessed with his feelings.
I know the results, because I have seen them regularly. I know his actions. I know his inactions. I know the lack of improvement of over two years. I know he has admitted he was close to leaving because he couldn't stand the hard training sessions under Pochettino. I know he has failed to impress Pochettino, Mourinho, Mason and now Nuno Espirito Santo with his fitness levels. I have seen his demeanour on the pitch. I have seen that he rarely lasted more than an hour on the pitch. I have seen that he regularly hides instead of showing for the ball. I have seen that he rarely tracks back. I have also seen him perform very occasional brilliant tricks, some of which help the team, but some of which slow moves down and put him either back where he started or sitting on his bottom appealing for a free-kick. From all that I deduce that he needs to improve drastically to become an important part of the team. This may or may not happen.

With regard to the definition of the meaning of arrogant and arrogance, I have given it to you. With regard to its etymology which I was aware of having studied Latin at school and knowing the verb rogare, and being able to conjugate rogaro, rogavi, rogatum, your comment is interesting but irrelevant to its current meaning. You are confusing history with reality.

I will not comment further on your juvenile personal insults.

I would point out, however that Tottenham Hotspur is a football club, albeit one which takes good care of its players. It is not a rehabilitation centre for those with psychological problems.

No more from me on this. The final word or words are yours if you want them.

We need to get rid, how I don’t know, I honestly think we have youth players who would contribute more.

On his wages he can afford a full time chef, dietitian and top fitness coach!

One summer Defoe hired a top Dutch fitness coach so he would come back ready to go! Funnily enough he started the season in unbelievable form!

Regardless of having a baby there is no excuse for being unfit, it’s only a couple of hours tops a day, when you are on 100-200 k a week it’s stupid and lazy!

I'm a massive fan of Ndombele, but it's hard to imagine Tanguy being fit enough to put the shift in that Dele did at the weekend. He ran over 11km, far more than anyone else in our team. Has he ever put up those sorts of numbers in his career?

It's clear that Nuno massively values fitness and conditioning almost over everything else. That really puts the ball in Ndombele's court - if he gets himself 'Nuno fit' then he could be a phenomenal player.

I don't buy that we don't need him (or someone with his profile), because he can unlock doors. We're not going to be playing City every week - when teams defend deep and in numbers, I'm not sure that 11 that started against City will have the quality to pick the lock.

None of us know the situation. We just need to trust that Nuno, Hitchen and Paratici do, and are able to do what's needed to move the team forward - whether that's with a fit and thriving Ndombele or with him shipped out and a replacement in post.
