I try and stop myself from imagining formations with new players as my head starts to explode. If we get NDombele and everyone stays fit, where the hell do we fit all my favourite players in ! I mean Winks is always a starter for me, in a 2 or a 3, and obviously Kane and Son are (imo) nailed on starters. If NDombele starts with Winks and GLC also signs, then where does Dele play, and what if Eriksen stays..... Christ, we could actually look a formidable outfit next season if it all pans out.

We really don't. We need to improve and move up a level. Not a rebuild. A rebuild will set us back a few seasons. \Next year I want us to be challenging at all fronts. We need to fix the holes in our team not make a new one.

I personally felt we needed a rebuild because I didn't believe that we could get players like Ndombele over the line without one.

If we can pull this off AND keep everyone, it's a massive, massive statement.

I don’t necessarily disagree with the sentiment, but it wasn’t “everyone” who said it. It was Pochettino’s phrase first and one would think he knows.

Not one Italian/Juve source has claimed they're interested in TN in a while(since the Di Marzio "keep us updated" story).

Most sources for them seem to be in agreement that they want Rabiot and Pogba./SMS.

I’m really disappointed our resident nut jobs haven’t been on here to load us with information about where Tanguy’s on holiday and when he flies back.

In my day, I’d have fashioned a false wall panel in his hotel room and watched him intently for 24 hours, harvesting useful information like flight data and sock preferences only when he was sleeping. I would also have used his sleeping time to throw the carrier bags packed with turds and piss I’d used to relieve myself with while in the panel onto a neighbouring balcony. And I would have done all this with a smile.

Sessegnon coming? Both are likely to stay till Jan at least. Unless a very good offer is made.

Foyth? Sanchez? Maybe toby will go, probably not. I suspect if the right player came in we would replace Toby, but it actually isn't a priority.

Keep Lamela? Depends if Eriksen goes or not, if we get a good offer, or if we find an opportunistic buy.

2nd Striker or Moura/Son? Repeat as before, if the right player becomes available, but not a priority

I fully suspect we will be looking at 2-5 outs and 3-6 in, with a maximum of three starters leaving. This is not an overhaul, its the same core team with a few new faces. The only reason it might develop into an overall is if players we want to keep decide to go.
