If we get in ndombele and Lo Celso while keeping erisken and improve a few other areas more less just strengthening the squad aka Clarke and sess hopefully the right back pos too we are going to be a serious threat next season

Even if we don't keep Eriksen I don't see why we still can't be a serious threat next season providing the right signings are made

Definitely but unlike previous seasons where we’ve brought in new players we can’t follow suit and sell a chunk of our squad players. Look at Liverpool, they were superb and a lot of that was down to having a shed load of options in both central midfield and attack.

Keita
Fabinho
Hendersen
Milner
Shaqiri
Wijnaldum
Oxlade-Chamberlain (injured)
Lallana (not needed)

Whereas we had:

Sissoko
Winks
Wanyama (crocked)
Dier (poor form/crocked)
Skipp (kid)

That’s 6 fit players v 2 of ours and Skipp.

Adding N’Dombele, Lo Celso and even a young understudy eg Berge would provide us with sufficient quality and depth for the season ahead.

Although Alli and Eriksen can drop deeper they were piss poor at it.

I fully suspect we will be looking at 2-5 outs and 3-6 in, with a maximum of three starters leaving. This is not an overhaul, its the same core team with a few new faces. The only reason it might develop into an overall is if players we want to keep decide to go.

I just think NDombele coming would be an overhaul in the sense that we would change our style with having more creativity out of the CM position which would make us more fluid.
Sissokos lack of final ball, Dembele limited vision wasn't effective enough... It was good but not great.. If we get more creativity out if the position we will change more fundamentally it would be the only reason to buy NDombele
More movement ahead and more taking advantage of defences not boing set and along with a Sessegnon, a new AM etc.. Is not a rebuild but does change things enough.
Overhaul? In some ways yes.
For me it's not so much the numbers but the emphasis on defence and attack etc.
Poch is a defender and built from the back. We have had good forwards but lack that player to pull both A and D together to create a better flow and quicker

I think we could even add GLC and lose Lamela.

We have plenty of players that can play wide, but we lack a second no10 type player.

This is taking too long. We need a DOF. Baldini was the nuts in getting transfers done. Baldini maximised his extensive contact list to bring Eriksen, Lamela etc to Spurs. He was a deal maker. Levy just seems to fuck around.

Just got WTF’d by JJetset amigos. Make of it what you will ?

I think this one is looking good?
