I still think he'll end up going out on loan again and then hopefully, he'll impress enough to secure a full transfer away from Tottenham. A couple PL teams could use his skillset and could afford to carry him with other CM's doing the grafting.

I know I should be given a year in the loony bin with personal supervision by Nurse Ratched for this

but I still hold out hope that he could be a success for us in a Spurs shirt

I'm not sure if there are 5 players with technical ability like his in world football. a genius to be sure, but a truly lazy and moody one.

A Penny dropped Ndombele back and focused on the team could be better than many AM options out there.

Also the raising in the quality of the squad could help him.

Such a talented player, if he can sort his head out, he’d still be a massive asset to almost any club. Could be an awesome no10, with Bissouma and Bentancur sitting behind him.

Probably won’t happen, as I think he may have burnt his bridges with Antonio.

I'll say it again. Fitness isn't an issue, that's quite easy to fix with a regime like he's doing now.

His issue is mental and going missing in games, not showing for the ball, spending 5 minutes rubbing his ankle after a tough challenge.

Alli did the same last summer, didn't improve his inability to impose himself.

Ndombele's issue has always been really imposing himself on a game, too often he hides or is poor tactically/mentally.

Yeah crazy thing is I think Lo Celso or Ndombele could both be a success with the team structure Conte seems to be building. But as you say it seems both have burnt their respective bridges.

He won't, he can't. I've totally given up on him.

IF he could, then yeah, he'd be amazing.

But how many chances does he need? He doesn't have the hunger or desire, and it'll never change

He's more 'naturally talented' and creative than pretty much any other player we could be linked with in CM.

Whether or not he can sort his attitude and work rate out, or more to the point Conte believes he genuinely has, will always be the sticking point.

I'd love it to be so - but just can't see it now.

He should have been such a wonderful footballer for us.

Working up the appetite for one of those famous US buffets.

Yeah, I don't see a way back for him but I do know he's much better than the reported links to the Turkish league. Will be interesting to see how he's handled during the South Korea tour. I'd personally take him on the tour, with the hopes of getting him some minutes to show what he can do and hopefully, entice a club ( preferably PL team as I still think he can cut in in the league for the right team) to make a loan offer for him.

Agree. I actually think the fact he is so ridiculously naturally gifted is what will hold him back ever really reaching his potential. He just doesn't have any fight in him. It's like he plays football for the joy of playing football but doesn't realise you have to fight and scrap for your team mates to really be revered. It's just a massive shame tbh.

I think most of us would love to be proved wrong by Ndombele, but him doing the bare minimum in a few fancy videos ain't cutting it for me.
