Of course he hasn’t burnt his bridges. He’s a 64 million asset that we cannot get a return on. He’s also a phenomenal footballer, if he wanted he could be the best player in the team.

If he did want to come back and apply himself it would be great for everyone.

If he couldn't do it under the last umpteen managers.... He needs to leave and we need him gone. Simples.

The 5 sub rule could really help him.

We could theoretically play him for 50-60 mins or until he’s gassed, then have a replacement come in and not be shortchanged in terms of further subs. The rule lessens somewhat one of Ndomblele’s main weaknesses, that cannot rely on him for a full 90 mins.

The issue of course is that he looks dead after 20 mins ?

No - get rid. I aint going to go through this crap again during the season or next summer. The issue is no one appears to want him. Except Turkey perhaps where even the shite players get transfers.

Sorry but no just no. Our squad for the last four months of the season we’re working as a complete team for the first time in 3 years why would anyone want to bring back in a player that Conte made train alone. Obviously what happened isn’t all his fault but he was part of the problem at spurs.

It would be like taking back an unfaithful partner while they update their Tinder/ Grindr profile

He won’t though. He just doesn’t care. He’s been woefully unfit for the last three years and consistently underwhelmed wherever he’s gone. He doesn’t deserve a space in a squad that’s being templated by a hungry drive to succeed

Listening to Simon Jordan he would not be on the books as a £64,000,000 asset. As he has been here 3 years now, he would be on the books at £25,600,000 if he signed a five year contract

Sadly it's a pipe dream. I don't think Conte has any patience for Tanguy, and any success would require a TON of patience and coddling, Toni just is not that manager.

Will he even go to Korea?

That makes me feel so much better about the 39,400,000 wasted

Ndombele will go down in football history as the living avatar of the phrase "talent is nothing without application".

He's ridiculously talented in a way that I doubt can be coached. But he very obviously cannot be fucked and has a weak mentality.

In fact, he's probably got this far only because he has so much natural talent.

Such a shame. If he got his act together - which he won't - he could be one of the best players in the world.

Look, I was over the moon about Tanguy when we signed him. Hell, I remember my post here - I was going through a shit time in my real life and his signing brought me such an unexpected burst of joy, I actually teared up. I bought his kit, etc.

But all that good feeling was sucked away over time and now I'm just mad at him. If it was just a matter of him not being good enough, I'd shrug it off, but its clear that he just can't be fussed to give a shit. Spurs don't need someone with that kind of attitude potentially affecting the rest of the squad.

He couldn't be fussed under Poch. He couldn't be fussed under Mourinho, and he couldn't be fussed under Conte. He's clearly not committed to being great and we need to get rid of him. His many chances have been used up.

He's a disgrace.

Totally agree. If he had the right application like CR7, he could have been one of the greats.
On good days (not many) he reminded me of Zidane. He certainly had the talent.
Shame that he just wanted to roll through the motions every time he got on the pitch.

I hear his from Jordan a lot, and wonder whether this logic is the reason why he no longer owns a football club. By saying this isn't he suggesting that all assists depreciate in terms of value with time?

I like a lot of what he has to say, but it bugs me when he says this about signings. I'm probably (most definitely) completely in the wrong, but I don't see how he can apply this.
