Incredible to see so many people in here change their mind on Werner when he is about to be a Spurs player, Remember the times he got mocked in here for all the wasted chances in Chelsea, how he was ridiculed and "would not hit a barn door" etc?

Now i see some people in here questioning his ability and they get spamed with dissagrees and dislikes :D, can't make this shit up :D

Will support anyone wearing the shirt, and with so many gone and injured i can understand it to a degree, but still underwhelming in my opinion
The Werner at RBL before Chelsea was very good one of the best in Europe. Players and systems we have seen how players performed under Conte and Mou in a negative system. If it doesnt work out it doesnt work out but right now we are super light up top

If Werner remains fit, I am 100% sure, this move will be a huge success for him & us.
I can see Ange's patterns of play working well for Werner's strength & hiding his weakness.

Fair, still the same answer imo. Gil plays in the front 3 and guaranteed Werner will ply before him.
But Werner is a CF, he can play on the wing like Richy can play on the wing. He’s not strong wide. But yes obviously I’d rather play a striker than a winger at CF.

I don't think there's anyone judging his performances at Chelsea as being poor. I certainly got enjoyment out of his failure there.

Doesn't mean I've completely written off as a player who can't do well elsewhere.

At the moment I am unsure of him simply because I don't watch German football. But I know from the past he has some quality so am interested in seeing how he does on a 6 month loan.

Be interesting to see what happens at the end of the season if he comes in and performs well enough to take richarlison’s place

I would guess we keep both - given the extra demands of European football - and defending the league title

I agree to a certain degree especially in the build up phase but I don’t think any amount of tactics can cover over his inconsistent finishing. Like Richy he needs a lot of chances and will miss sitters. I guess if we make numerous chances then he could flourish, we just have to make the chances.

We're in the player thread, let us enjoy ourselves!
Fill your boots. It just amuses me how people think that additional tweet adds anything to anything at all. It doesn't but it seems to be a thing.

It's like feeding time at the zoo, all the twitteristas are in a race.............. "oooh @superITkagentsmumwithadildo said it, that really confirms it, I must rush to post it and get hero points on SC from my fellow peasants" :playful:

I know, however he will come on before Gil even at LW. Our Richy will shift left and he will go up top.

I am just saying he will be the first attacking sub ahead of what we have now.

Off to look up @superITkagentsmumwithadildo for some more tidbits! Thanks for the tip from a fellow peasant.
