For me you have the best starting combo there for the rest of this season. Werner/Richie/Son
And then based on last night - I wonder if Ange is looking at a CM3 of Maddison/Kulusevski/DM

For better or worse, Ange seems to trust Kulusevski more than just about any other player - he is third in minutes to Porro (and Vicario) - so I don't see him dropped any time soon.

You would think he would do better on the right on the outside using his right foot. Left side is fine if you're good coming inside but then it gets crowded and we lack width on the left. He was getting into good positions even in first half but his left foot crossing let him down.

From his first video with us, talking about how hard the treadmill was, on, I’ve wanted this guy to knock it out of the park. He’s talked about how he had no game time, so wasn’t fit, and we are finally beginning to see what he might look like up to speed (and that moment last night when he was in a sprint back giving the attacker probably 3m head start on a 10m sprint, and he caught and tackled him, was superb left me grinning). He’s so fast, absolutely committed and bought in to US straight away, talking about goosebumps (boosgumps) about walking out to our fans singing, etc. and there’s such a nice self-deprecating nature to him, like when the interviewer asked about what he feels like out there after a 7 mins like that when we score 3 goals and his answer was that he’d like to rest for 5 mins because he’s knackered from all the running hahah)… for me, he’s a weapon in our arsenal and we don‘t have another one quite like him. He’s so quick, he’s got a good footballing brain, and if he’s not your centre forward and meant to be scoring 20+ goals a season, you know he’s going to create 20 a season for you… like the old school wingers did. 3 games, and essentially 3 assists, unfit and getting up to speed, without some of our best ball players around him to play him through? Love it. More of it, please.

I'd like to see what he can do from the right also.

I’ve only seen the replay on the Spurs Insta and am very jet-lagged so may be missing something, but anyone know why he wasn’t credited with the assist for the Udogie goal?

Destiny knocked it against a defender and got it back before shooting.

Yep, stupid how it isnt an assist.

Yet Toney gets an assist for shooting at the keeper, then Maupay knocks from one foot to the other to score.

I mean Werner's is more the assit if anything.

He was electric last night especially 2nd half. And his left foot didn't let him down finally with the cross to Brennan. Love him with us

Premier League don't have Toney down for the assist.

He's been involved in 5 goals in 4 games, either via direct assist or in the buildup.

His skill set works very well on the right so would be interesting to see him there in a few weeks as Sonny and Richy are undroppable at the moment.

Has been good in the small time he’s been here. Thrown straight in and done well. Certainly hasn’t set the world on fire but he’s done well. I also think he’s the kind of character Ange will like to have around the place. Early days but have a suspicion he will be staying

Personally thought he was extremely poor today. Basically hid for a lot of the game. Never attacked his full back at all. And you can tell he's absolutely petrified of missing chances, so he kind of holds back from attacking balls that he should actually get to.

I don't think he's the long term answer and completely agree on the shooting. On the plus side he's setting up others with goals.

Mccoist made a big deal about his runs being good but he mostly runs early and offside.

One thing I’ve noticed about him is the quality of his passing. He’s so often stereotyped as a pacy wide man but he can really pick a pass and his defensive work is top notch. Of course it’d be great to see him stretching defences every game but for me one of the characteristics of a really good player is to know when you’re not quite at it and so simplify your game and aid others to expand their game. Harry was exceptional at that and I see similar unselfish traits in Timo.

Similar traits to harry kane? Hes not a bad passer but he is literally the opposite of kane.

Looks like his runs are either being missed or picked up to late. Hopefully a few more games will be more cohesion. Hopefully comes real good

He wasn’t the best today, but he certainly wasn’t alone in that, and he was frankly the least of our problems.

He’s going to be a very handy player for us, especially once Sonny is back, we’ll be able to keep a pacey threat on that left wing the entire game.

Bit like Richarlison in that if he's not playing well he's still tracking back and helping out. Not as aggressive mind but I like his work rate and his recovery pace. At the other end he doesn't have the quality on his left foot to get crosses in. I hope he has more about him on the right side. He does need that confidence boost Richarlison has now with a couple of goals.
