Maybe he's injured. A lot of this is starting to sound like the bollocks people were posting about Lamela.
Maybe. But, then it would be easy for Poch to say he had a set back at Newport, or in training.

Poch has not said that, which opens things up to interpretation.

I think a lot of you are seriously overreacting. Why would he travel to Turin if he's not 100% fit? What would be the point?

I think it's far more likely he was assessed after the Newport game (which realistically we knew he wasn't going to be heavily troubled playing in) and they've decided to give him some more rest time. I would be very surprised if it's anything more sinister, as neither Toby or our management are like that.

But nah, he misses 2 games after a long injury absence and all of a sudden he's pulled a Rose...

Toby to City in Summer IMO...

Gutted but its clear this is gonna happen. It is Walker all over again.

Just hope we get min 70million for him as he is worth as much if not more than VVD, and we need to invest that for a good CB like we got with Sanchez, anyone out there?

I'm not surprised he's not signed a new contract with us yet. If we have offered Toby a new deal, you can bet it's way off what he should be earning.

When you see the likes of Ozil signing new deals worth 350k a week, how can you blame Toby wanting around the same. He's the best centre back in the league.

Hopefully the new stadium will bring big changes. Not sure how we can expect to be constantly challenging at the top of the league and paying our players the same wages as West Ham...

We pay a lot more than West Ham, compare the wage bills.

Its all speculation of course but if he wants more money its his loss. We wont be giving him minutes at the expense of somebody who does want to be he like sanchez.
Only club in england he goes to in england is city but even then will cost so much i dont think it would happen. 80m for what a 29y/o?

We pay a lot more than West Ham, compare the wage bills.

Apparently Hart, Arnautovic and Hernandez are all on over £100k a week - Carroll, Fonte, Zabaleta, Antonio, Lanzini etc not far off.

Using West Ham is just an example, but when you compare our wage structure to the teams around us, we pay considerably less.

We have considerably less revenue, what do you expect?

Fully agree with you, but he has run his contract down, if he don't go this summer he can the summer after for 25m. Levy will wobble IMO in the summer if he has not committed and it looks ominous

Will see who is right come August I suppose.
