Trippier has made 2 errors leading directly to goal in the premier league this season.

It's more than Toby for sure, but it's not as bad as some are making out.

It's a team game, you defend as a team and you attack as a team. If one player gets caught short, you want the others to back them up, not point the finger.
Personally, I think 3 years our squad was younger and fitter. We've clearly seen the number of injuries increase to comical levels this season. That's the world cup, no new players to reduce the burden and, undoubtedly, age.

I don't know what the answer is. I'm just pointing it out.
2?! Man City roasted by Sterling, ManU pass straight to Pogba for the goal at Wembley, Liverpool let Mane in behind him, Wolves mistakes directly leading to 2 goals. Thats just off the top of my head.

Perhaps you deem an error differently to the premier league.
Which leads to the question, how many extra errors can be contributed to other players in the squad that the league haven't?

I deem an error to someone fucking up and it leading straight to a goal.

I'm sure you can apply that to anyone in the team then.
Imagine if Aguerro wasn't offside. That was directly from an Eriksen error that. If he punted it up the pitch, it would have been fine and dandy. (CL not PL, appreciated)

Yeah, so that would have been an error leading to a goal?

In our eyes. But it seems clear the stats don't record everything we do as an error leading to a goal.
You've listed 4, but the PL website only lists 2 (without explaining what they were)

Trippier has been generally quite poor, I'm not disputing it.
I'm not convinced just changing for a new RB is suddenly going to make things better though.

Walker leaving his recovery on his side was excellent too.. That and our DM position this season has contributed to the goals conceded.

Totally - remember the Wanyama / Dembele shield that just sat there. No one got past that.

And you had Rose and Walker at their absolute best.

That was an incredible team - best Spurs team I've ever seen.

We had so many good performances that season it was unreal. We would put games to bed within the first 25 minutes. The performance away to Stoke at the end of the season was absolutely incredible.

That Stoke match was in the 2015/16 season

With the news kompany is leaving Man City, you’d think they’d be mad not to go for him. Seems a no brainer

Regardless of the 'definition' of an error, 99% with clear vision in their eyes who watch Tottenham regularly will see that Tippier is a huge weakness in our team. He cannot be in the starting 11 next year, if he is, i will despair with our transfer policy.

Can't think of a better bit of transfer business this Summer than signing Toby up for another stint. Unfortunately, reliable ITK seems pretty sure this won't be happening.

Very sad to hear this. What's the latest news on Toby? Goes without saying I would love him to stay at Spurs, he's been a colossus and done a great service for us. If he really wants to move on then I hope it's elsewhere in Europe, not a PL rival.

a few well known ITKs have come out over the past 6-12months saying that it's got to the point where either Poch goes, or Toby goes. They appear to have healed some differences as Toby is back in from the cold and has a working relationship with the management staff.

However the ITK were firm that he crossed the team and he's gonna be out.

If he crossed the team or whatever that's means.... He would never have played the number of games he played. Perhaps when Toby leaves we will here HIS side of the story.

All I've seen since he got here was an absolutely consummate professional, who has lead from the front and helped make our defence so much stronger.

Didn’t want to start a transfer page as the only links are the Express and HITC...

Mentioning of a swap deal with Utd for Eric Bailly, who I believe Arsenal have been watching and who is valued by Utd at £30m-ish...what are the thoughts regarding this??

I for one would not turn this move down...like Sanchez, Bailly is a physical presence and a dominant force in the air...but also like Sanchez, he can be erratic and has a mistake in him.

I was mega jealous when Utd signed him for £30m a few years back, as I thought he was a beast both at Espanyol and then Villereal, however he has been a touch patchy at Manure.
On one side he put in man of the match performances in his early days, was a Utd POTM and was in the Europa League team of the tournament the season they beat Ajax in the final, along with a league cup medal and an AFCON winners medal alongside that.
But on the other hand he had a 3 month injury this year, and has been a part of a Utd defence that has been simply woeful (whether or not that has been down to him is speculative at best)...

If Toby is so so intent on moving for money, then Utd is the place, he can walk away from this great project into Europa League Football and a toxic dressing room...I think getting EB in exchange is much better than money imo as you have a potentially class centre back under the right coach.

If we say Vertonghen has 2 years tops left, that will take Bailly to 27, Sanchez to 24/25 and Foyth to 23, bring In another player at Foyths age, you’re looking at a well gifted defence both physically and technically, who will hopefully have a wealth of experience by then to give us a truly elite defence...

Just my opinion, open to constructive feedback and a discussion...
