He doesn’t want to be here off you go simple as that
Maybe I don't, maybe you do but we are all entitled to an opinion and that is mine.
Poch has said more than once to fans not to panic as Levy manages contracts and will sort things out, therefore if Toby goes, Levy has to take responsibility...I understand its prob agents being their usual self but we want to be a big club so losing one of our top players sends the completely wrong message out.
End of discussion and my opinion
What do you suggest we do to keep him?
It doesn't look like we can do much so doesn't matter what I would do, be shocked if he is here come August.
What I would make sure though is all our key players are paid what they should be and tied down before heads are turned, all watching what Walker has done this year, there is not much loyalty in football these days
I don't think we will replace Toby with a senior player - IF Toby leaves. I think the plan would move Dier back to CB to compete with Sanchez and Vertonghen, with Foyth continuing to develop. Maybe bring in a De Ligt, or CCV back to the first team.I think at the outset the club handled this wrong. After one year he should have been offered a new deal. We got him for £11-12 million. That was an absolute bargain. Levy\Poch could have been jailed for theft/fraud thats how cheap he was... Now remember city had just paid £30 million for that french defender whose name escapes me.. Mangala i think.
I think Toby has 5 more years at the top and he can help us win trophies and possibly the title. He should be on £150 000.00 pounds. Would it not be cheaper to pay him the wages suggested than going and buying a new player who would still need to adapt.
So you're saying we should have doubled/tripled his wages after one season at the club? When he still had four years on his contract?I think at the outset the club handled this wrong. Sometimes it makes sense - not saying that is what we should have done here. But, if you find that you have uncovered a real bargain, it makes sense to show him some love - that builds loyalty. So you're saying we should have doubled/tripled his wages after one season at the club? Great CB, but if he truly wants to go fair enough, sell him abroad and get best possible price.
Selling to a domestic rival, after selling Walker, is fucking small time.
We've looked formidable without him, but selling to a rival is not acceptable now.
If only it worked that way. As has already been mentioned, if Toby doesn't wish to leave the prem there is nothing we can do about it.
Of course, if he wishes to leave Spurs we can hope he moves abroad, but force him we cannot.
Well we can decide not to sell. We're on the cusp of establishing ourselves amongst the top tier now, I'd be tempted to exert some influence in that regard.
It looks weak if well sell to a competitor again, but Keeping Pochettino is ridiculously more important.
Well we can decide not to sell.
Then he leaves for 25m the season after to whoever bids.

I'll be honest. I hadn't read that. Forget my comment. You are missing the point - Toby himself pulled out of training on Thursday having felt his hamstrings. He is still not fully fit.
