It doesn't make sense if the list on the Uefa website is true, given that we've got a space.

Foyth is essentially a youth player who had barely played any senior games. Janssen is the starting striker for a good international team.

I accept you know more what is going on but I still think it is disrespectful. While it may not be working out for VJ ultimately he was the top scorer in a good league before he came to Spurs and he came to us knowing full well he would struggle to get past Kane, yet he still put his trust in the club and Pochettino and wanted the move. We have returned that trust by leaving him in a position where he can get no minutes at all.

Maybe Poch is taking the champions league seriously and not just for minutes for squad but layers he doesn't trust

Are we allowed to register players later? Maybe, by leaving the spot open - we can still register Lamela or Janssen later if the need arises. In other words, maybe we want Lamela in the squad, but don't trust his re-hab. So, we leave the slot open, and will register Lamela if he shows he is fit and can contribute in a month - or otherwise we add Janssen to the roster.

Feel for Janssen. Brutal from Poch, for not accepting Brighton loan

Portugal window open till 22 Sep. He should seek a loan move to a club there. Simply, has no future with us

He didn't want to go to Brighton, nothing to do with Poch. Decision was Janssen's who wanted to stay and fight for his place.

LOL, he could barely get any game time in a month where kane can't score. He is a fool. He would have been first choice at brighton. We bought him after one good half a season, it looks like a gamble that hasnt worked out.

Really think it is pathetic by the club to have Foyth in the CL squad ahead of him.
Sahme he isn

It's pretty obvious to us all, that he has no future here under Poch, and whilst people will say he's not been given the chance to prove his worth, this is slightly lame, as he has had opportunities and failed to take them, because unfortunately he is not good enough..

Dutch league is a very poor league!
But the Argentinean is a sound one:confused:

Its pathetic that Sissoko is in but is it the fact that Poch fucked up on this one that he is always given a chance despite the fact he doesnt have much room for improvement

Maybe there is something already in the pipeline with a club and that is why he's been left out.

I know people respect him for staying to fight for his place but the guy should have gone to Brighton. Like I've said I'd like to see more of him with us but Pochettino is clearly very reluctant to use him. He can't prove anything by spending most of his time on the bench, the best thing for him would have been to have gone somewhere where he can actually get on the pitch and prove he can play in the Premier League.

With Llorente now on board, there will be even less opportunities for VJ to be on the bench. Surprise decision for him to refuse the Brighton loan move.

Sanchez?

I do agree though, I guess the risk is less with buying a defender from there rather than attackers. For every Eriksen there are too many Depays, Jansssens, van Wolfswinkels, etc.

At least defensive players that fail to live up to expectations are still solid like Heitinga, Vlaar, etc.

Pathetic-Really? You don't know what is going on behind the scenes. Whilst Poch wants 3 strikers (adaptable), which I believe is why when he spoke to Poch before final decision to go out on loan to Brighton he stayed. Reason? Our WF did not materialise for various reasons.

We have 2 strikers, and Son as the 'adaptable' for the CL. There is your reason. Foyth, I personally can understand.
but we're already short of Alli for 3 games, so how adaptable can we be needing Son to be?

I thought we rejected the loan not him?
