Good close control and hits a screamer.
He's going to be one of our best signings in years I reckon.

He looks such a neat player. No sloppiness at all in his control or touch, and great efficiency in his movement. Ball fully under control during in the dribble. Not the paciest, but his strength and fantastic attitude are good compensation.

I see elements of Kuyt, Sheringham and Shearer in him, and he's only 22. That kind of player should get better over time.

Once Poch's training has fully been infused into his body and he gains the stanima and little bursts of acceleration that Kane has worked into his game, then we are going to have some striker on our hands here

If you take a look at VJ's footballing CV you'll see that confidence is never going to be a problem. He's been through harder times than just not scoring for a few games.

A few of you might of seen in the what our opponents are saying thread that I'm in Ibiza at moment.

Anyway popped outside the hotel to have a cig and some middle aged Dutchman was sitting at a table with an ashtray so I asked if I could share his ashtray. He asked where I was from, I told him, then found out he was from Holland.

So asked him Ajax or Feynoord, he said Ajax. I said we had 3 of there finest, and he replied "and Vincent". It turns out he comes from the same town/village as Vincent, and he is related to Vincent's uncle.

Told him to tell him he is trying to hard, and needs to relax, unfortunately he won't see him till next family get together so is going to pass on my advice :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Yeah I can't wait for him to start banging them in.

Kane will be back soon though so he's not going to get much of a look in.

Except in the domestic cups, as a different look and/or extra striker later in league and CL games, or when playing with Kane from time to time.

Basically, he'all have plenty of chances given our fixtures and his own ability.

Kane will have a tough time getting past the inform CF in England. The mighty Son.

Nah Son is better on left wing IMO, he did well against City but different prospect against other teams.

Plus Kane is top class, you gotta show him loyalty and get him back into his groove.

The goal threat having Son and Kane on pitch is well sexy too...

Am watching the Ned v Fra match. Jannsen is having a blinder. Denied a penalty. So so strong and bringing his team mates in play. Also Sissoko is having another good game too.

And yet all we'll hear in the media about this match will be "Pogba, Pogba, Pogba, Pogba...etc".

An aspect of his game not many appreciate on her and think he just needs to be stuck at point.

Yeah, I think Kane will benefit greatly from Son's twofootedness and ability to cross.

HIs hold up play for someone so young is world class. I agree, people seem to think it's a given that he should be able to do it and overlook how difficult at the top level it is to be able to do this.

I only watched the first half but IMO, he wasnt doing too well holding up the ball and his touches were a bit sloppy. Barring the one play where it was a handball and penalty(although i still see why the ref didnt give it as he had gone to ground and it advertently hit his hand as he was trying to get up. Would have been harsh on Koscielny), Koscielny largely had a good game against him. He made some good runs but i hold some reservations on if he can get to some balls played in for him due to lack of pace. Sissoko did well at times but i didnt really notice him. Whereas Kurzawa and Payet were really running stuff for France. Gameiro's finishing was shocking, btw. Easily should have been 2 or 3-0 after the first half. Stekelenberg was flaky.

Payet was average and rightly got taken off. It was pogba and matuidi who were making france's plays. Both were very calm on the ball which is odd given that matuidi prefers to run at blokes

I thought Payet had a few nice balls to Gameiro that were muffed. I did notice Deschamps swapped him and Sissoko early on, perhaps to get Sissoko more involved, which didnt help Payet as he was doing well down the left before the switch. Pogba was okay and took his goal well although Stekelenberg should have done so much better on that, but I think Matuidi was particularly impressive and took instruction really well since as you said he normally likes to run at them.
