Doesn't look a premiership player, don't understand why we signed him, keep hoping he will do something to get the pulses racing. Like Soldado, never seems to be in the right place in the penalty area. A better centre forward would have got a shot away on the volley, or even been arriving to tuck away the rebound from Eriksen's free-kick effort. Dramatic improvement required to justify a regular place on the bench for us, let alone a starting berth.

Bloody hell he's had about 10 games. Considering our attackers have clearly been out of form and this is only his second season in the top flight...

Poch changed Kane's body shape when he came in and took his game to another level, hopefully he'll do the same with VJ.

He does look like he plays on his heels and in my mind is trying too hard in the wrong areas, but he's probably been thrust in a lot earlier than Poch wanted.

He needs time for the manager to develope his attributes to best suit our game. Stay patient, he's 22 not 29 like Soldado.

It's just brutal seeing him miss chance after chance. We really need another more dynamic striker in the next transfer window, someone who is content with competing over the backup striker role.

Why would we want someone who is 'content' with competing over the backup striker role? How is that going to improve us?

Ask yourself this, if he had made this start and you had seen him play for Swansea like he has for us, would you want us to buy him?

He never seems able to do two decent things in a row. Wins an aerial duel, passes the ball to the opposition. Gets through on goal, misses volley. Mistimes runs. Eriksen seemed completely frustrated with him. I am not quitting on him but am not terribly optimistic.

Absolutely not. He can barely last 30 minutes on the pitch and somehow he comes on today and looked exhausted immediately. He looks like he moves in quick sand, he bottles his chances(when he does get them) and he is miles off the pace He's far from fit enough and as of now he is far from good enough.

We gave Poch control over transfers with the managers title while knowing his transfer judgement was already questionable. And what does Pochettino do? He goes out and spends £50m on Moussa fucking Sissoko and Janssen. I just have 2 questions. 1) What in the fuck was he thinking when he made these 2 decisions? and 2) What in the fuck were we thinking giving him control of transfers?

Do you think Poch has full control? I don't think so. I also dont think these two were on his favorites list ie His first choices.

I think Sissoko was last minute panic buy because we didn't get Isco and I think Batshuyai was first choice but couldn't get him so got Janssen. Now you could argue the first choices were going to visit a hell of alot and they would have no doubt strengthened us and both would have fit in to Poch style.

Anyways I think Janssen is just a weird player. He has some technique ie when he chested Erikssen long pass and volleyed it. . . That was silky but 99% of the time kits clumsy and everything seems tough, controlling a ball seems alot of work for him and not sure why he is huffing send puffing after a few mins on.

Very average player. The only saving grace is that Kane was worse than Janssen when he came onto the scene and look at home now. . . So we will see.

Kane was not worse than Jansen when he started!
