No way we commit without decision in his case so it would be a loan with obligation with some caveats on the criminal case I’m sure. Innocent until proven guilty but is the fact that there is a case at all any reflection on his character? I don’t know much about that side of him.

fuck that's a big yikes. I don't want to be the team with him in the squad if it somehow ends up being a Mendy situation. Especially if it somehow comes out that we knew he was guilty and continued to play him, real bad look and since we are Tottenham they will blow it up in the newspaper unlike city where no one really cared in the media because that would tarnish peps image.

When I heard we were looking at a PL player I immediately thought of Neves, totally agree he'd bring us up a level.

I think you’re getting a bit carried away here, Maybe 3 (Bissouma, Lamptey and Trossard)
I definitely agree our recruitment has been poor. I actually like the way we’ve gone about our business though. Lots of irons in the fire and if we miss out on a couple we still have good aternatives.
I wish people could be a bit more positive tbf. I’m not the biggest fans of ENIC/Levy but I think FP is doing an alright job and if he can get rid of Dele, Tanguy and Gio in this window that’s brilliant!
