It made me wonder what would happen if a player on a yellow got subbed and then picked up a yellow for something like the above, after the replacement player had come on. Presumably he'd be banned for a match because 2 yellows but they wouldn't make the player who came on for him go off.

Looked a lot better tonight. Always ready to take the ball and play forwards. Would have been nice if he put his chance away

Another step up from his improved showing against Luton. I’d still like to see more from him bringing the ball out, didn’t like seeing Maddison dropping into his space to pick up the ball.

Exactly this, the player subbed on, would not have to come off.

He wasn't bad last night, some signs of improvement in form which is encouraging. Has a long way to go to get close to the form he was in at the start of the season.

Noticed him switch off a few times when tracking back again, but still think the last two performances have been a massive step in the right direction. Far from ready to give up on him.

Plays like a luxury player, but without the quality.

He should be very worried next transfer window.

Honestly would sell him. Hes had 7 good games in 2 years. I know everyone will say give him time but he just cannot be relied upon

what market does he realistically have? no doubt some mid table to low end Premier League would take him but would he accept it?

if we go abroad, maybe some Bundesliga team like Dortmund. but can't see many feasible solutions at this point in time.

Was always impressed by him at Brighton and was very excited by his signing.

He's had periods this season and last where he has looked good and hoped that he'll soon find his place and become an important player for us.

There have definitely been times recently where his work rate looked off. This is one thing he can never lose. His playing style is reliant on his work rate.

Another player who Ange needs to make a big decision on. Certainly not ready to write him off, but a few warning signs are there.

Many warning signs for many games. He’s had maybe one decent game since the early part of the season.

Concentration lacking, leaves us too open for counters.

Haven’t seen the game today but was he at fault for their goal again?
I would say Udogie was more at fault, but he could have done more

He started fairly well, thought he was going to build on the West Ham game, but he faded quickly. It was right call to sub him.

I still have hope for him longer term though. Both at Brighton and early this season, but also until today he was starting to step up again.

Worried about him. Chalk and cheese to the player we signed from Brighton and even the one that started this season so well.

He had a dip in form and then I wonder if the malaria has done more damage than is known. Something is definitely wrong.
