I really liked the third (soldado scoring) and the seventh (fans/atmosphere) options; but the best for me was the combination of the two. the fans reaction to soldado's goal was absolutely brilliant. we don't always tend to be the most patient lot, but it's always appeared that he's continued to work hard and actually care, and it was really gratifying to see that our support for him hasn't wavered.

I wasn't there, and can only go by what was coming across (loudly) on the telly; but crikey, the 'yiddo yiddo' followed by Volare was really fur-raising stuff. there's been a whole lot of (fair, imvho) criticism of the atmosphere at the lane of recent, but Sunday's support couldn't have been more (if you'll pardon the redundancy) supportive - and specifically for the one player who has, perhaps, needed it most.

... oh, and everything else on the ballot was great, as well. the most enjoyable spurs match of the season thus far - by a stretch.

Nice varied set of votes. Seems there was a lot to enjoy then. But we have a clear winner:

The youthful midfield pairing doing so well was the highlight for me,both were a delight to watch with their energy and enthusiasm.

I must say I loved the little sequences of one touch passing, of which there were several. There have been numerous comments about how great the crowd were with the subtle inference that it played a role in the performance. Balderdash I say, we got what we have all wanted for ages, a performance of passion, craft and commitment. Our players were passing the ball, forwards, they were making intelligent runs, they were pressing, they had belief.

The crowd responded to what they saw, the players then reacted to the crowd.

What we witnessed were the green shoots of progress gently rearing their heads above the dirt that has been spurs for the last 2 years.

But beware.....
